Maybe it was the way i cooked it, but I tried cooking Tofu and it was not plesant at all. Very bland with no taste even with flavored seasoning. :(

At my grocery, there are different flavour of tofu. I always take the fine herbs one, I love it. And also, you should keep in mind that tofu is mostly for the texture. So try to incorporate it well in the meal.

My girlfriend sent me this video and I got interested. Prepared it today and it tasted just like scrambled eggs, Really good stuff. Though I didn't have any hummus or tamari soy sauce, but I did have the tumeric and some regular ol' sauce and it worked great.

Not sure if you're a vegan, but if not this is how my mom makes it sometimes:

Keep it in the box & cut it like a checkerboard into squares. Then you can brown some ground meat (or I guess tempeh) in a pan with chopped green onions, pour in some soy sauce & bit of rice wine & let the liquid slowly simmer off. Put the tofu in a bowl, pour meat & whatever sauce over & mix it. Eat it over rice.

You can also cut the tofu, put some chopped grn onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, mix it. Cold side dish.

Hey be careful of that tofu when you're dispatching it. A domesticated tofu isn't so vicious but a wild tofu can and often does deliver a FATAL paintful and venemous bite.

Yep, I do something like that, except I replace the olive oil with bacon grease, substitute two eggs for the hommus, salt and pepper instead of tumeric and tahini. Oh, and I leave out the tofu. Excellent cooking show!
