In the original creed, Catholic meant the universal Church of all believers. Today, Catholic means Roman Catholic. Third Day dropped the term because its meaning has changed in the past 1700 years.

@aussiegreek1 this creed speaks of the truth of god and not the invention of any man d;-) but the church jesus established was the kingdom of heaven not catholism- the kingdom is what man forfeitted and its what jesus bought back

@aussiegreek1 The true Church of God Started many years before there was a Catholic Church. This creed is the principles of the first church that started with Jesus himself and the 12 disciples. The fact that Catholics feels they control the word of God totally contradicts this song anyway. If it is not the invention of man than the Catholic Church has no right to this creed since they invent things to add to God's word all the time. Jesus did not establish religion (Catholic) but relationship.

Third Day doing Rich Mullins, and one of my favorte Mullins tunes at that, does not get better than that. Loved what you did with the images and the lyrics as well. Got this marked as my favorite now. Thanks and God Bless You
