    John

  • @LiteGauge Merci John. Il est vrai que Bert n'utilise que les accordages que tu cites ,en tout cas le tien rend bien .J.C.

  • Composition and your interpretation of it strike gentle chords with my heart! Love this song for a long time! Great upload!

  • @MsAndi63 Thanks very much :o)

  • Awesome! I've been playing this a lot lately. Bert plays it in standard tuning fyi, with a capo at the second or third (he seems to mix it up).

  • Great version fella......have you got the tabs you use?

  • @MAXlMUS66 Sorry, but I don't use tabs. If you google "Jansch Moved through Fair tabs", you should find tabs that you can adapt quite easy - raise anything of top string by 2 frets, raise anything on the 6th or 5th strings by 2 frets, due to change of tuning.

  • What a treat, I like to hear any Bert Jansch song. Wonderful Sir, quite wonderful.

  • Hey John how are you?,

One of my favorites & one of your best covers John ! i see you got a new guitar, it sounds good what brand is it ?, I LIKE ! ;)

    Cheers,

    Jesse.

  • @JesseMathews Cheers, Jesse. It's a Boucher Native Goose OM - Canadian job. Very nice little guitar. These strings are a couple of months old and yet she still sounds bright.

  • @LiteGauge nice guitar i checked it out on the website looks like a killer for fingerpicking and all solid too with red spruce top which is considered the best classic top wood for a guitar but it takes longer to "open up" because its slightly harder then sitka spurce top... i would like to hear that baby in 5 or 10 years :)

  • I just tried to leave a comment and it wouldn,t let me....

  • A beautiful arrangement John....and the tuning works incredibly well... I actually remember seeing jansch in nottingham years ago and he played a couple of things in an open G .....If I remember correctly I think one of them was running from home.... I know I normally play this in DADGAD ...but I like your version better (much more melodic)....Kev

  • @electricragtime Thanks very much, Kev. I've always associated Bert with Dropped D, Standard or DADGAD.

  • great cover! if u want please check out my covers and if u like them please subscribe!

  • @crazyconnortv Cheers :o)
