I can still remember where i was when i first heard this and how it blew me and my mates away, and changed our lives. Shipfields chippy, Norwich 1989. From then on it was Flares, Kickers, Chipie and Chevignon.

Amazing that this tune isn't one of the real Stone Roses legacies a la Fools Gold or She Bangs the Drums. It's incredible! So funky yet it has so much tune in it.

This is the sort of thing Oasis can only dream of. Don't get me wrong, I like Oasis, but this is rock 'n' roll at its finest. So much rhythm in this song yet incredible lead guitar all the way through.
