stcwarrock: you have no idea about what you are talking about - "copy of the Lord of The Rings" yeah right! Don`t get me wrong I like LOTR but Diablo games predate LOTR movies (I know when LOTR books were written and so are different matter)- Diablo I released in 1996, Diablo II released on the 28th of June 2000, Diablo II Expansion Pack Lord of Destruction released on the 28th of June 2001! Not to mention a huge succes and reputation that Diablo games have in gaming world - bigger than LOTR!!!

OK guys listen up: first of all Mephisto`s and Diablo`s soulstones were destroyed in the Hell Forge indeed, it remains unclear what happened to Ball`s soulstone. However you guys forgot a couple of things: The prime Evils cannot be destroyed permenantely (remember The Pandemonium an Event - patch 1.11)and when you kill (and yes you can kill them anywhere) them they go back to The Black Abyss that spawned them remember!

So what was all the effort of those heroes who killed the Prime Evils knowing that they'll still come back? Nothing?

I`m not 100% sure that they knew and even if they did they`d probably try to "kill" the Prime Evils to elimenate the threath that they pose to the World of Sanctuary. And when they are "killed" they go back to the Black Abyss and atleast stay there for some time to gather some strength to even appear (or be summoned as in Pandemonium Event by Lilith) in the Burning Hells let alone in World of Sanctuary!

So my answer to you is: NO all the efforts are not invain you also help to the High Heavens!

Then he goes through all the acts...free Baal...Have mephistos Help to get to hell to achieve his old power back[this part i'm not thaaat sure]
