@TrakMiro Hmm, I hadn't thought about the original Kid Icarus medley. But if it had been, how did you figure out this this theme was in the game. If it was going to be in the game, it would most likely be the Japanese version, as Nintendo seems to be trying to remove any traces of EarthBound from America other than the stages and characters. (An example would be the masterpiece of Mother 2 that was in the Japanese version, but removed in the American localization.)

The reason Nintendo allegedly hates Earthbound is because it didn't ever sell well here. theres not enough audience to justify another release. In a way, It's all our fault.

@Mannetasi They started hating Mother fans AFTER Earthbound. And it's more of a general disinterest. We'll see how they feel now that they can just release Mother 1+2 and Mother 3 for the 3DSWare store. Although they never released Earthbound stateside.

The reason the only released Mother 1 and 3 in Japan was the same reason they only released FF1,2 3.

They thought that it would be profitable enough. Mother 1 was relased in 1989 and was ready for the rest of the world in 1990 but was delayed to the fall of 1991 for marketing reasons i think ( GOD how i hate the comment limit!)

@PAMuffinMan like i said because it was put on hold that much they didnt release it cause the SNES was coming out at that time ass well they thought it would have overshadowed Mother. It was the same thing with Mother 3. It was relased April 2006 only for the GBA in Japan where just like the others where a huge success but they didnt release it outside of Japan cause it would have taken them to 2007 to fully translate it and release it for other marketing reasons. (fucking comment limit)

But also cause in their offical magazine Mother 1 and Mother 2 (AKA Earthbound) is rated the number 1 most wanted game of the readers. So why do they not relase it?
