What I dont understood with the theme song is that, despite Captain Planet's noble intentions, I don't think we really want pollution taken down to zero. Reduce it dramatically by all means, but if there was no pollution that would mean no cars, no public transport, no industry. We'd have to all go back to living like cavemen and catching our own fish. If he pledges to take pollution down dramatically, i would be more in favour, but the theme tune wouldn't be as catchy

I felt bad for the south american kid, the power over heart. the only thing he was useful of was helping the planeteers summon captain planet. I really liked this show when i was a kid but seeing it again on boomerang as a teen, its corny. I know the show educate kids in saving our planet but we still have animal becoming extinct and don't get me started with th oil spill in the gulf of mexico. we have a long way to go.

Captain Planet was a great show. I watched it all the time when I was a kid. I try my best to do what I can to save the earth. I beleave if they would have this show on tv today then it might inspire kids to help take better care of the earth and to continue to do that as they get older. Ever since they quit showing captain planet the pollution has gotton worse. Do people not care about our planet anymore.
