Νice ,relaxing romantic music.I can hear you playing by the hours without ever being bored .
I must have heard each piece of yours about a thousand times. You are a great composer and a great guitarist / artist! .They say that in guitar playing the real artist is the right hand !I wonder if it's true.I believe mind and soul are the real artists! Although your agility in playing is obvious I believe your playing is coming straight from your heart.Bravo!
I like the deceptive ending. It's very misleading, leaving things unresolved like that, but it fits the idea of the song perfectly. Is this not the way ones life ends?
:-) Thank you! Glad you liked the ending... Well, I tihnk we all should try to live our lives so we don't have unfinished thoughts when we go.... but I realize it's almost impossible... but I will try.
I really enjoyed this tune for its beautiful melody and the way you played it, with real emotion communicated to the listener. I love this type of slow piece.
estoy de acuerdo con "ayerpuramusica" el tema es muy bueno, pero tiene fragmentos en que pareciera q esta basado en "Adios Nonino" de "Astor Piazolla".. de todas formas me gustan mucho sus videos.. saludos!!
Great to hear from you again. Breaking my fingers on Before Silence, but will get there eventually. I'll drop by in you music store soon (sorry to hear Global is out of business, they were a great source for your music).
Hi Peo, so good to see you again, my friend! That you've been busy makes me nervous.."practicing" something perhaps..
Interesting title for a piece, my own unfinished thoughts would be a long piece indeed! Well played as always, I noted the reverb, wink.
Don't worry, you will never be far from our thoughts..I've been playing through your Before the Silence past few days, it's rekindled my affair with the guitar again. As lovely to play as to listen to. Many thanks for your contribution!
GOOOOOD mOOOOrning JOOOOO! Slept well? I did! Yeas, you know, I was crying last week because you didn't comment on this :-( NOW I'm happy again, dancing salsa and drinking Mojitos on the beach! Yackety, yackty jaa! Or as they say in your town:
Per, you may laugh, but I would love to hear you play a Chopin Nocturne, and I'm sure others would enjoy it too... Or some Chopin piece... Chopin on guitar sounds great :D
Hi! I am not laughing. I adore Copins music. What melodies!! It's very complicated to play on a guitar and many have tried... and failed, I think. :) I want to give it a shot someday but no promises.
Another beautiful piece that I have added to my "Peo Book!" And welcome back! I think I have nearly everything in my book, but I do have a special request! Some day I would love to have the tab to your arrangement of "Maria" from West Side Story...... What do you think?? What would it take? Do I have to fall at work again and bump the other side of my head?? LOL..... (Hope you're enjoying your new home!)
Thanks Sandy! It's nice to be back! And to see your kind comment. Regarding the tab for Maria... I cannot provide that since I don't have the copyrights... I am sorry. Bernstein still has the rights for that...
Per-Olov, another beautiful piece, and with the interesting "unfinished" ending. And you didn't just use the "default" V7 chord to do it. Much more interesting and subtle this way!
Yes,I think it's the II chord in place of the V7, logical if it was the IIm7. But, then you take it a step further by leaving out the 3rd (still sounds minor in the key of G, but vaguely). Then, there's sus4 also begging for resolution!
I just love the sound of the room you are playing. Wonderful room acoustics give creedence to your wonderful playing.
I love the how the last chord in the song was NOT resolved to some tonic note/chord. Maybe this song is really "Unfinished" An unfinished symphony. Great stuff !! Thanks again. One day, I must post my compositions. I'm just looking for a good camera, and microphone.
Hi there David!! Thank you! Did you see my new shop? I am so happy it's up and running. And I want to thank you for all the great videos you do with Maria! And also thanks for your beautiful music!!
It's a shame that Youtube feels it has to degrade the sound quality of your videos. They should have a little more respect. But they didn't affect your artistry. That still shines through.
I agree. I've talked to Per about youtubes 'high quality' sound (ie a really bad compression) and how it ruins the sound (like it does on my version of Bach's 'Air') but this is the first time I've really noticed it on his videos.

Unfinished and somewhat complicated thoughts! Very pretty piece and maybe one day those thoughts will have an ending, eh?
Nice room. Look forward to seeing the rest of the place... perhaps with a new song for each room? :)

As I look at the lavish furnishings in your home I would never guess that you are an acoustic musician :-)
A wonderful composition, beautifully played.
