  • I like how the top two comments contradict each other. For the record driftking97 is correct, though.

  • dang that pull from 2nd to 3rd was sick! nice car/vid bro!

  • shit sounds weak compared to ur gt35r conversion

  • i'd kill only to get a ride with you

  • Try side stepping the clutch a lil sooner, you may get more wheel spin but it'll def be faster right off the line. I used to try to feel out the launch and feather my clutch while I was full throttle in my 05 sti. Shouldn't yours have like a 2 step launch control so it reds around 5500 and prevents wheel spin off the line? still a dope car...

  • Doing that on a tight two lane residential road. Smart.

  • THAT SHIT LOOKS SLOW

  • @richevo26 MY CAR IS AN ANIMALL X2

  • @richevo26 slow ??? what planet u from, mate ????

  • nice

  • I SMELL CLUTCH..So how long did your clutch last after launching like that? 5000 miles? Dont understand how so many people can watch a bad presentation. The only launch I've seen so far thats decent is "STI Launch" by 06stiboi, the STI only has an intake and exhaust. All those extra mods require you to become a better driver, not show off that you dont know how to drive.

  • Great launch sounds really nice too

  • How do you launch that smooth?

  • great launch, looks like a risky street if she gets sideways :)

  • is that stock?

  • hmmmmm, every time I launch my car goes from left to right and with minimal tire spin. That was on a stock clutch, now i have a twin plate and damn do I just go, but there is a bit of wheels spin but o well, still gets me a 1.7 60ft on bad tires.

  • The last thing you should worry about from dropping the clutch is the clutch going out. The transfer case costs a lot more than a clutch does, so that's why some people choose to slip the clutch at least a little bit, over dumping it.

  • Hey dumbass, they dont have t-cases its a transaxle with a center diff

  • They sure the hell do, dumbass. Check Nasioc.

  • Subaru's dont have transfer cases...its an Inline Transaxle

  • the wheels may spin but i'd rather burn my tires rather than my clutch

  • Clutches cost less than these tires fool

  • Thats the proper way to launch a car, all you fools out there who think dropping your clutch is right, you would be seeing the wheels spin and the clutch break.

  • grinning to much on ur clutch not good @ all

  • "He does make good numbers on the dyno though" does he really dick sucker....... Puddinn

  • weak launch

  • whats your point

  • Just saying "DUDE"

  • loud bov's are queer. i like urs.

  • @Tater49 hehe .. probably wants to say it's a normal impreza :D:D

don't bother .. car looks clean

  • not many people use blow off valves. Makes you run rich, unless you are tuned. Alot of my friends stick with their bypass valves. Thats why you cant hear it because it goes right back into the intake manifold.

  • oHhh i seee..

    BOV sound badass though lol

  • @blkout15

thats a good thing, hes one of the few smart subie owners that doesnt put on a rice VTA BOV.

  • @03Stg2WRX i believe BOV sound bad ass .

  • @blkout15

that may be true but it makes subies not run at their best

  • @blkout15 so you heard one then?

  • @andrew1501 mm no

  • @blkout15 i'm just being a smart ass. you said a double negative

  • @blkout15 sooooooo....

  • @blkout15 yo retard sti's don't come with a bov they have a bpv

  • such a sexy car, im buying one next year, 06 or 07, either blue or white

  • Oh and get a BOV, but the color is nice. I like the Pearl white in 07, dont know if i like it as much as Aspen white though

  • and if i got an 07, i would switch seats out for Bride, tear the ugly blue out, replace with 04 black WRX interior if it fits, then you are good to go :) and do the Carbon fiber top wing swap

  • Yea, i like them both, just STi killed it once again. They got a nice interior now, and fuckin killed the outside looks. Maybe they will bring the Sedan back with the drop of 59 percent of STi sales.

  • I'm gonna have to disagree with you. The interior may be ugly but the seats are comfortable, the sti sounds better than the evo. It doesn't make as much power as the evo can with minor bolt ons, but they are both great cars.

  • @Red14EvoViii I have to disagree the interior on a evo looks like it was designed by fisher price, just saying.

  • @Red14EvoViii hey kid you should go look up the histories of these two car, the STI

and the Evo, they both are very different car, if you assumes subaru copy Mitsubishi

your wrong, subarus are boxer 4 cylinder and Evo's are 4 cylinder inline and the handling is also very different because they are designed differently, its funny how kids will defend the car they like and say unnecessary things lolz. any way, hey kid i love my classic sti : )

  • @Red14EvoViii Awww a fanboy...how cute...grow up and realize that both cars are absolutely amazing machines and each has their flaws and high points.

  • @Red14EvoViii troll...

  • Foot of the cluch buddy. But you can still take a evo a 06 evo

  • wow that was kinda shitty and my 06 evo would destroy it!!!!

  • Your evo probably wouldn't destroy this car any more buddy.

  • hmm it was okay, no tire squeal

  • damn dat was a crap ass launch. u suck man

  • this video was not of me its of my friend but thanks

  • weak launch my bro's 07 sti will beat it

plus his on youtube weak dude

  • weak launch my bro;s 07 sti will beat it

    weak dude.

  • Damn

  • How do you get over 80WHP gain by just getting an exhaust, intake, and a flash? No way. You're lucky to be at 280WHP right now.

That, and the clutch definitely felt that one... bad launch.

  • During this video it indeed had 331awhp from the intake, downpipe, exhaust, fuel pump, the boost was turned up, and it was tuned by dynoflash. We have the sheet to prove it. Thanks

  • Well, I never heard of such high numbers from these simple bolt-ons on a stock turbo. Must be some sick tune.

  • have you ever heard of dynoflash, where do you live, and do you have or know someone who has an sti?

  • I have a vf34 wrx with many supporting mods and I'm at 280WHP. I've seen MANY STis with TBE and other simple mods getting about 280WHP dyno tuned. I'm from CT, we have XX Tuning here (haven't heard of dynoflash).

  • Well i would recommend that you head down to our area (stamford, ct) and go to ics performance for a tune by al (dynoflash). Also check out his youtube channel. He is one of the licensed tuners of ecutek. Check it out, they do some sick shit.

  • Interesting, I didn't know we had another shop in here. How much do they charge for a dyno tune? Might be worth considering. Thanks.

  • I forgot how much they charge but go to their website and call them up and talk to either george or al. Trust me you will enjoy what they do.

  • Sweet. I got in contact with George, I might be doing it in January. He said he might achieve 300WHP with my setup... cool, thanks!

  • Let me know how everything goes when your all gone and how you like it.

  • Yep, I will.

  • Alright man, got it dyno'd today by big Al. He was able to push out 300WHP flat out of it and 282lbs of torque. Not bad for a 2.0L WRX!! I'm pretty happy! Thanks.

  • did u get a vid by any chance

  • Isn't DynoFlash in Connecticut or somewhere around there? From what ive heard hes by far the best there is.

  • Yea hes in the same city that I live in. This STi got tuned by him and he did a great job. On the other hand, he will beat the shit out of your car if you get a road tune from him. Some people would recommend him, and others would definetly not go back. But, there are many tuners out there that are better. Personally, I would prefer going to "The Shop" over Dynoflash any day, but thats just me. He does make good numbers on the dyno though.

  • weak launch

  • i think the clutch felt that..

  • I'm not gonna lie, that launch was really sad...

  • dude that was a weak lunch i lonch mine so much harder

  • fack ICS

  • q pasa puta!

  • bring it to 35-45 hundred rpms and bounce it, dont dump sthe clutch, slip to engage themn release, all four wheels should spin.

  • i hate polish people with Sti's named pat that only come home once every five years and is a fagget that i kinda like...eh not so much

  • how come it has that bodykit if its an sti? is it the type RAR version or just a wrx front lip?

  • its just a regular sti with an sti front lip

  • well im looking right now on subaru websites and none of them come with that front end with the fog lights. the wrx has the fog lights, so whoever you bought it from must have put on the wrx front, or you bought the front end with fog lights seperate.

  • ummm not the fog lights just have a yellow overlay and the sti lip was put on separate

  • well yea the yellow lights. oh ok, cos the front bumper looks like the one from the GB270 from England

  • The car now has a GT35r in it, with all kinds of other shit including the Hdyra, Aquamist, new motor, new heads and is fully built. After the break in period, which is 1000 miles, the car should be pushing somewhere around 550AWHP.

  • shut up tater you fat fuck

  • way to suck the cockk tj

  • you need to work on your launch....

i can smell the clutch from here. slip it out faster and start with more revs from the beginning.

  • have to agree dump the clutch and rev higher, your launch would be better.

  • is that a stock clutch in that thing??? Mine went with 23K on the odo, now I got a twin plate, the sweet spot in that thing is sweet, if I get it right, or sometimes I just slip and dump and that thing goes crazy, still got a 1.71 60ft.

  • Feathering the clutch too much, I could almost smell your clutch... try slipping faster without dumping.

  • pat smells like microwaved baby shit and cole slaw.. hes still my favorite polak though

  • Very bad launch :)

  • alrite calm down it wasnt that bad

  • maybe he didnt want to hit anything around him, those cars are beasts when u launch them really hard, plus the car looks new

  • ''maybe he didnt want to hit anything around him, those cars are beasts when u launch them really hard, plus the car looks new''

Ok first why launch in a place where you could hit something, especially if someone is a inexperienced driver.

And secondly, after few of those launches the car ain't new anymore :)

  • whatever just sayin maybe

  • well around where i live there is not good places to launch

  • i agree

  • Hey,

Just wondering, does Al(Dynoflash) do email maps for the Cobb Accessport?

  • Hit the sweet spot and Jump a car ahead! STI launches are deadly..

  • hey and AWD that knows how to launch... fucktards who just rev it up to 5k rpm's and just drop the clutch is no launch... ya gotta hit the sweet spot where you get no wheel spin but just enough launch

  • hey...try to launch next time...

  • launch needs work...shiftin is good tho..
