@SuperMagicsquid Are you refering to the down thrust of the engines. The Nacelles came that way and has no real effect on how it flys. I only had two clicks of down trim and one click left for level flight.
just stumbled across this video. I believe A/C 70-1270 is one of the ones I sent to the boneyard (I am stationed there now, so I can check on my to work tomorrow) due to center wing box cracks we found in the desert on a deployment a few years ago. Nice model though. How's she fly?
Align a camera with roman candles and put them in the side of your plane and remote light the fuse by frying two copper wires on a circuit switch. And then it will look better in midair or at least threatening. You'll be the show of the runway! :D
@MUSTANG408W Yes there is four bladed props available now. Im in the process of bulding another C-130 and it will have 4 bladed props and powered by 40 size electric motors.
Very cool! That model looks great! And to see the front wheels off the ground, jump the chalks. I worked on many 130's between 1966-70, in the Philippines, RVN, Okinawa, and Kelly AFB. Thanks for posting.
Ah very nice great job! Love the sound they all in sync. Unfortunately in the video you can get the stereo humming as you would in person. Awesome sound! Thanks for sharing
To answer a few questions posted this airplane is the Adanvced Scale Models from

I was a Herkey Crew Chief at Pope 82-85 then off to Rhein Main for two more. I wish you could have given it the old jungle paint job. OD, brown, black and the white scaled underwing and bottom of the fuselage. They always looked great after leaving the washrack..... Clear 3
@RCboy221 This is the Hobby People ASM C-130.Unfortunately this airplane is no

That's Awesome. My dad served at pope in the 80s. He was a 130 Flight engineer and retired from there as a CMSgt. I can't remember, but he may have been in the 317th. Thanks for sharing your video.
You have no idea how hard that is. And the AC-130 would have to be much bigger. I have one, and it made 3 diferent "guns". Small, Airsoft gun BBs. Marble sized...pellets, and paintballs. For the 25 mm, the 40 mm, and the 105 mm.
Thanks. I have OS 25fxs with APC 10X4 props. I made all four engine linkages the same length. I then linked all four engine servos to a JR match box then to the receiver. no y-harnesses. nice and neat.
It may look ugly but its looks exactly like the full size C-130-E based at POPE AFB, NC. I was station there from 1975 to 1979 and actually worked on the real one. im a retired USAF C-130 CREW CHIEF.
@fordtech08 I don't think he should be discriminating(sp?). I mean great model. it's just 4 engines to dial in and get just the right r.p.m. you you tac. them all?? You must right?
Looks kinda squished xD, The cockpit seems to together

@fordtech08 Ah, okay. I don't really know that much about RC aircraft, so I didn't really know what was happening there.

Would look like the real C130 with four bladed props.

LOL, nice model though, did you build it yourself?

@adambot3000 Thanks for the comments. Yes I built it myself. This is a ARF kit but it came in Coast Guard
colors. I just repainted in USAF colors.
