you will need the werewolf ring to transform whenever you want to. if you want it, go to falkreath and then to the prison and the guy in the chamber with spers locking it up, then talk to him and then you get the quest for it and the rest you can yourself figure out. ( it says what to do in quest)

If you want to make beast form stronger, equip and cast fire,frost, or lighting cloak before you transform and then transform into a werewolf. this helps you damage opponents much stonger and it also helps you when you're surrounded

@Pre5t Well the main disadvantage for being a werewolf is you dont get the resting bonus from sleeping, and no people will not attack you in human form unless you have a high bounty, make sure not to go into beast form where gaurds can see you or you get 1000 bounty.. i would rather go werewolf then not go werewolf :P

Can someone please answer my question? What happens if you kill all of the citizens in a big town like whiterun? I know you get a bounty but do they respawn eventually? I have skyrim for the xbox 360 so i know i cant respawn them but im wondering if the game eventually brings them back

Do people attack you on sight when you're not in werewolf form? I can't stand being a vampire for that reason.

@edwardLRS Yes expect defintley the companions. I'm not sure about other people traveling with you but yes. However this is only when you're playing as a werewolf. You can easily hide and wait about 1 or 3 hours and just turn back to a regular human allowing you to not be attacked by them. However you'll still be attacked if they saw you transform into a werewolf or maybe un-transform.

@edwardLRS Yes, but you choose if you want to transform into a werewolf, and when.Also, there are some cases when red moon (I think) will transform you into a werewolf.But you can avoid that easily by staying indoors or obtaining some ring that will help you gain more control over your transformation, that meaning that you can transform whenever you want, how many times you want.
