@blueroomexit By saying it's, "too short", that only says you liked it so much you wished there was more music on that album. Murry St. is above The Eternal for me because it organized that period of, well hell Washing Machine all the way to Rather Ripped (ignoring NYC Ghosts). It's a beautiful work and finaly came out right as an entire album. The Eternal is on par for me with Dirty and Goo, but Bad Moon Rising, EVOL, Sister, Murry St., Washing Machine and Daydream Nation are all above them IMO

@blueroomexit One of their best in a rough period of the 2000's. Murry St. is above it and Sonic Nurse is barely below it. One of their best albums in their total carrer? Upper middle maybe. Of the 2000's? 2nd best. Rather Ripped was the "Washing Machine" of the 2000's and NYC Ghosts is their worst album period.

@blueroomexit Oh sure, but "Washing Machine" and "The Diamond Sea" changed the old SY angle on songwriting. Jet Set sounds nothing like another SY record. A continuation of Dirty themes maybe, but even still was its own piece and Bull in the Heather, Bone and Androgynous Mind are both great too. There might have been a lot of throw away SY in the 90s, but at least it was all interesting. Personally I just find Goo to get more credit than it deserves. *shrug*

@blueroomexit Nah, Washing Machine hit higher heights. I'd say put Dirty and Goo are on the same level and a Thousand Leaves isn't comporable to any 90's SY. Experamental Jet Set was their most interesting record in the 90's though. So I'd say they're all the best SY 90's album.
