I don't think you really need a smart phone. I'm sure you could just place the contraption on top of a regular monitor and just reduce the width of the text. I think I'll give it a try when I sober up. Thanks for the idea.

hey dude, after looking at your video, and a few others, i gave this experiment a try also.

so today i completed my own teleprompter :)

it works really well , and im chuffed with it. i also made a vid and uploaded it today.

I think so. I'm really surprised that it actually works! I'm looking forward to actually using it in a video, to see what it really looks like to read off a teleprompter but actually be looking in the camera.

Those things cost like thousands of dollars, and I basically made this one out of garbage. lol
