I went to the mailing office this morning and unfortunate to say (though I found it extremely hilarious) a man of African American ethnicity was talking aloud on the phone about chicken wings and cool aid; I made it seem like I was laughing at at message on my phone hopefully no one saw me laughing!

yeah I didn't see anything wrong with your comment either. Does this guy maybe have a chip on his shoulder from a previous discussion with you? If not then he probably falls into the category of the type of people you're talking about causing him to get defensive.

Yeah I don't know what his and lander123gal's problem is.

I hope they realize they have inadvertantly proved the video's point.

I said how the stereotypical YouTuber acts and look what happend.

They reacted in stereotypical ways.

That proves that stereotype threat is real.

If I said something that was not related to how YouTubers act, they would not have gotten defensive and would not have confirmed the stereotype of how badly people act on YouTube (or anywhere else).
