  • is citrus soda called lemonade in britain? they do have funny names for things.

  • @zdkezios it just because your not used to the british way of saying things, I find citrus soda strange. just sayin'

  • @KrockmokTV well generally we call the soda by the brand name. sprite, 7up, sierra mist, etc. we usually don't call it citrus soda. but we don't call it lemonade.

  • Is Blue Curacao alcoholic?

  • @race1717 u could c in the ingridients

  • @race1717 yes it is. Its a liquor so it mite have around 17% alc

  • @defryer1 the blue coracao have 40% alc

  • @1MasterTee yeah maybe a real spanish curacao but any cheap liquor like bols should have less, i even have one cheapo bc bottle here with 19.5% it will vary a lot depending on brands

  • @1MasterTee No it doesn't you retard.

  • @nanargooberblat FY i know what I'm drinking you stupid idiot

....why did you insult me at the first place, you are an idiot sir!

  • @nanargooberblat first educate your self, before you start insulting someone.

tipe Blue Curacao on wiki you will find that the curacao Alcohol by volume is 15–40%

  • @1MasterTee Oh it can, but then it would be liquor, not liqueur, and wouldn't be in this drink.

  • @1MasterTee Also, it would not be blue curacao if it had 40% alcohol, it would be a different curacao.

  • 0:06 lol

  • According to the Torronto institute of bartending the Blue Lagoon is with rum, not vodka. If it's with vodka its called Blue Kamikaze.

  • @LogoMproductions In denmark it is rum in the blue kamikaze :S

  • @SturmUndDrang13

you never forget the straw little kid u have to be a bartender to now this ..!

  • @CadoFilms. You can call somebody 'little kid' when you succeed in making a coherent sentence.

  • I make this at work and it's not called a Blue Lagoon, it's called an Electric Lemonade.

  • @Killgarrow well, anyways i think blue lagoon sound so much better than electric lemonade

  • @Killgarrow They are both official drinks with different names. I believe they have slightly different proportions

  • @ausratol blue curacao is a drink, named for an island, is a kind of triple sec

  • @ausratol originally a Dutch liqueur made of West Indian oranges.

  • Just got back from a visit to the UK. "Lemonade" in the UK is carbonated lemon-flavored drink. It's like 7-up, except that 7-up is lemon-lime flavored not just lemon. There is really nothing comparable in the US. Try subbing with the 7-up, or perhaps you could try a combination of club soda with squeeze of lemon and a touch of sugar. Sprite will be too sweet.

  • @yubbles09 7up/sprite

  • @mathuv Thats lemon and lime

  • @Aldo1878 well none of the hundreds of British clients I've ever served complained when I gave them 7up ;)

  • @mathuv You'd never wanna serve me then ;)

  • @Aldo1878 interesting.. so what exactly do you classify as lemonade? to be honest, where I'm from, when someone asks for lemonade, they are usually served 7up or sprite. No one ever really seemed to mind (local / foreign) ... i know they arent lemonade but certain people get used to referring to those kinds of drinks as lemonade. The actual non carbonated drink made from lemon juice water and sugar is not at all common here.

  • @mathuv I just consider a normal lemon drink as it to be honest eg. Schweppes, to be honest everyonr has a different opinion on this matter but mine is that lemonade is just naturally lemon with no added lime

  • @yubbles09 Well in the UK, lemonade is fizzy not still.

  • @yubbles09 it means lemon soda basicly. like 7up

  • @yubbles09 from what i heard americans use loads of sugar (well that corn syrup substitute) in everything. lemonade shouldnt be sweet, just enough to negate the acidity of the lemons (ofc tastes differ). its a sour sweet drink, not just sweet like apple juice or cola.

  • @yubbles09 lemonaid is not supposed to have alot of sugar

  • @yubbles09 sprite, 7up, or schweppes lemonade. It is sweet, too sweet. I'd add a bit fresh lemon juice to balance it out.

  • @livingdeadshawn How can it be too sweet?

  • @Hallamfoebell because most of the lemonade nowadays contains a lot sugar, plus the blue curacao itself is a sweet liqueur, this can cause the drink to be slightly unbalanced.

  • @livingdeadshawn how can a sweet drink be unbalanced? I never liked the taste of Vodka or Straight rum.

  • @Hallamfoebell fine, pour syrup into water, and there you have a bloody sweet drink. and that's the impression blue lagoon gives me.

  • @livingdeadshawn Drinks are not all about rum and vodka! Well have you tried a toasted Almond/

  • @yubbles09 same here! But some but not all people here do say sprite and 7up er lemonade even though its lemon/lime lol

  • mmmmmmmmm

  • blue curaçao with jus d'orange is very tasty too

  • It's one of my favourites... Not too bitter, not too sweet. Love the colour too! :)

  • That looks tasty! ^_^
