A "tin whistle" or "penny whistle". Very much a part of traditional Irish music. Looks handmade by either Burke (~$150) or Copeland (~$300) - these are the top end in whistles. I have a Burke and it's pure joy! The bagpipes, middle of video, are "Uilleann Pipes" (pronounced "ILL-en") or "Union Pipes". The whistle is very EASY to learn, the uilleann pipes are the very HARD.

Switching between them, during a performance, is testimony to the musician! Thanks for posting the video! Sláinte!!
