i could use some help it (terminate called after throwing an instance of 'NSException') and unused variable 'background'
every time i do a tutorial i get errors or warnings i copy the code correctly (as far as i can tell) they get a build 100% successful and i dont i would really like to know what im doing wrong
Can you please upload this video again it starts at 5.0 and still the screen is shifted please im following your tutorials so need them neat as rest of them are :) thanks
Hey dude iam working on a game and when objects collide the background goes away and goes back to the original black background.How do i make it so it dosent do that?
How to set pattern image to the background? Does size of patern play main role?

Very helpful tutorial, but I have a question.
You use "CCSpirte *background = [CCSprite SpritewithFile:@"Default.png"];
to add sprite.
But on Cocos2d's web, they use "seeker1 = [CCSprite spriteWithFile: @"seeker.png"];"
what is difference between these two coding?
and your code is working for me...but cocos2d's web just give me error message.
why is that happen? it because version different...or something else?
Thank you for helping.

@zoe934 Check in the Cocos2d documentation. I believe the method is spriteWithFile (camel casing).

@johnydee187 This is weird!!! Can you paste your code somewhere? Usually you set the background of the layer inside the scene static method.
