How 'bout including the reason why Harrison was pissed? Back her up about five seconds before your clip starts. I'd be knocking they guy around, too.
Nobody commented on how the Cardinal player went low on Harrison!Bad news, baby, going low on him!Reminds me a lot of other Steeler greats at LB(Greg Lloyd,Jack Lambert, etc.,etc)
thats why you don't fuck with the champs. should of stayed down like the bitch that he is. And on another note Harrison lives a mile or two from my hous i've heard nothing but awesome things.
if anyone thinks this is a cheap shot and harrison should b kicked out of the league or anything like that f*** you. he got wat he deserved with the penatly and i forgot one things...... Go Steelers Stairway to 7 baby
the cardinal should get a bitch ass pussy penalty cuz he couldn't handle harrison who is probably a good 70 pounds lighter than him and your just made they lost and that the steelers have the most superbowl wins in the nfl
What Harrison did was "PUSSY"! And any REAL Football fan would say so too!
He should have been ejected from the game! I can see maybe holding a guy down, but to throw punches at him while on the ground is PUSSY PUNK TACTICS! To condone this type of play is simply asinine! You can bet though that some players are going to be gunning for his ass! Someone will legally blindside block his ass and knock him into the steel mill! LOL.. Can't wait! Paybacks are a bitch and he deserves it! LOL..
The back palm of the hand when thrown straight out or straight down has the same effects as a punch. In extreme martial arts the back palm punch (Not Fist Punch) is the precise punch to smash someones nose up into their skull! Be as it may, that's not football! If you condone those tactics, especially when children are watching, you're sad man! I played the game! And although I loved jacking someone up, I never hit a man when he was down, that's just pussy and uncalled for.
If I am not mistaken Harrison has never been trained in extreme martial arts. Also, all contact was made to the shoulder pad, not the nose. Harrison was not trying to fight him; he got mad at a low blcoked attempt so he blcoked his man into the ground a finished his block. No single action of Harrison was illegal, but the ref determined Harrison's continual contact was unecessary. Hence, the unecessary roughness penalty. Any kid old enough to watch NFL football can handle this penalty.
@tg: It was a metaphor! Explaining his down throw with his back palm is similar to a punch! Get it now? LOL. Look sherlock, even John Madden said Harrison should have been ejected from the game for that coward tactic! If you recall he was commentator for that game! It's a matter of opinion! If you want your team to WIN like that, then that is you!
I prefer my team win on legal play. It is what it is and it's over now. My opinion and that of thousands of others is, he should have been ejected.
It didn't seem metaphoric, it seemed clear cut. Reguardless of your opinion, my opinion, they opiion of thousands of others and Madden's opinion the game should be called by the rulebook. Harrison's actions, by rulebook, didn't warrant an ejection.
Just a matter of opinion tg. So I agree to disagree with you : ) But I will say I don't believe in hitting a man below the thigh nor hitting a man while on the ground, both are bad. Who you going for in the NFC/AFC Champ Games?
Not if it happens during a play......Not to mention if it's not that serious and not repetitive throughout the game it normally doesn't get anyone ejected if it happens right after the whistle blows anyway.
I'm a huge steelers fan, and I know that he shouldn't have done stupid shit like that, but that was probably the funniest penalty I've ever seen. When I saw that I laughed my ass off!
i dont get why everybody hates him for this...he does what hes supposed to do...owns that cardinal player (kaesvaharn or whatever) ...the only thing wrong was that he went after the whistle ...and thats probably cuz the cardinal player was talkin shit cuz he got owned...go harrison...go steelers
This is professional football, not peewee! Heck, even in Jr High School you play to the whistle, let alone IN THE SUPER BOWL.
It is an insult to the Cardinals player to suggest that somehow Harrison should have gone "easy" on him. If he didn't want to be in the play he should have just laid down for the rest of the play.
And if that is a punch, every O-lineman is guilty of a personal foul on every pass play.
He did the Cards a favor. Every player is supposed to do everything in their power to help their team win, --right -- but what does the Card player do???? Just lay there like a wimpy weakling and do nothing,,, a limp noodle cooking in a pot,,, a wet and dirty wash rag ready for the trashcan. This kind of effort should get a punch. Meanwhile Harrison does what he can to help his team. I'm glad Harrison plays for the Steelers.... and that other waste of a guy doesn't.
WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU EXPECT HIM TO DO? That big fucking gorilla of a man is just standing over him holding him down, then as soon as he gets on his knees to make an attempt to get up, King Kong over there throws his ass down. And the reason they wanted black men is because they began to associate white men with their whining pussy sons.
Awesome, awesome post. Thanks for proving to everyone that not only do you not know the rules of the game that you are complaining about, but you are also a bigot.
Congratulations, you are a giant fucking loser! Now do yourself and everyone else a favor and go hero yourself.
im sure you havent seen them threwout the whole season. theyre always pushing and shoving divisional teams in the ass. shows how much of a faggot they are, and it also shows how much you pay attention to football.
We wont even go into the fact that again you are an ignorant, intolerant bigot, let's just focus on your utter cluelessness & complete stupidity when it comes to football(again).
For starters, lets see you name the Steelers who have been ejected from games this past season, when they were thrown out and for what infraction. I'll wait.
i stated that they play dirty football, that theyre always pushing and shoving other players. that doesnt mean this leads to ejection. you 'ignorant, intolerant bigot'
now for starters, i want you to quote where i said in this channel, that they were ejected. ill wait.
I love how you accuse the Steelers of playing dirty and are "always pushing and shoving" without actually citing any specific incidents....
Its funny how you don't mentions the Ravens are a dity team for admitting to have put bounties on players and how you don't mention Adrian Wilson is a dirty player for running over pur punter.
Its quite obvious you hate the Steelers and being a hypocrit just to smear their organization is no problem to you.
that whole division is dirty. and no, i wouldnt call adrian wilson a dirty football player. he plays with discipline. when did wilson run over yalls punter? or was it when adrian fell at his feet and the punter stepped on him? idk, i dont remember.
hey, hate to tell you, but not only i hate the steelers, the teams in thier division, the raiders, the 49ers, the cowboys also do too. and im sure the rest of the nfl and fans do too.
Remember when Adrians Wilson just flat out ran over our holder? The holder was defensless, down on one knee after a field goal attempt. Wilson (with at least 5 yards notice) ran right into him, showing no attempt to avoid him or slow up. Since our holder on field goal attempts is our punter I reffered to him as such. Sorry if that cuased you some confusion. It was Wilson getting stepped on, it was him charging into a man that had nowhere to go.
Wait, are you asking me to prove that Adrian Wilson got called for "roughing the holder" when he did exactly that? Believe it or not, he did that and I am not lieing. People who still have the most sour of grapes from this game are even willing to admitt that. I'll work on finding proof becuase you don't remember anything but the dirty Steeler of taking dangerous and stupid penalties....
just questioning their moral thinking. kris dielman the san diego chargers guard was ejected for punching a defensive player (even though it wasn't even a punch, instant replay shows he's just moving his arm in a manner that shows like he's hitting the other dude)
im just saying adrian wilsons penalty didnt look intentional while james harrisons did (any objections?)...im not commenting on the calls by the refs which were right besides the fact i believe harrison shouldve gotten ejected.
your saying maliciously punching and shoving a guy thats already down isn't grounds for ejection?
you dont have to answer the question...its probably better for yourself if you dont. shit...cant have an opinion without offending somebody or having some guy jump on you.
I "believe" he shouldve gotten ejected from the game for what he did.
A) The ball was still live, the play was still going on and while he probably went a bit over board(thus the penalty) he was maintaining a block on the guy. And more importantly:
B) He didn't actually punch him at all. Unless of course hitting someone with an open hand is now considered "a punch"
Then you really haven't a leg to stand on. As the old saying goes, you are entitled to your own opinions, however you are not entitled to your own facts.
1. Lets not assume what he may or may not have been thinking and just pay attention to what his actions were.
2. He is a probowl saftey in the NFL. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is corrdinated and not clumsy. There was more then enough time to try to slow up and he showed no attempt at doing so.
just shut up,ur such a bitch.did u ever think that the steelers are actually a good football team, and deserved to win the superbowl?yeah didnt thinkk so.your too immature to give any credit to something that is great for the sport.
ok you go ahead and believe that. so when your favorite team goes 9-7 and ends up going to the superbowl, dont be going for them. go for the opposing team thats 12-4.
It's nice to read some comments about this play from people who are actually sane. Its football, you play to the whistle, that was his man, he kept him out of the play till it was over
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Even as a steelers fan I cant believe James harrison would do that. I guess he thinks the punter deserves it. Becuase punters and kickers are the biggest theives on the earth they kick a ball and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars
We wont even get into the fact that if football is too tough a sport for you that maybe you should find a less tough one to watch in the future like Tennis or Golf.
Let's just focus in on the fact that you are a complete and utter moron as James Harrison did NOT win the Super Bowl MVP, so therefore it makes it kind of hard to strip it from him. Good Job!
now i got a question you make a video like this of course he is mad the were armbaring him him the whole game so ya he is gona get mad 6 rings baby!! get physical!?
dude tried to take out Harrions knees on a block---if you watch the whole play you will see this. Harrison was just defending himself and he got alittle pissed in the process. Regardless i wouldve done more to the man for trying to potentially end my career.!!!!!!

kowank666 and mrzpoolamalu get the Politically Correct Pussies Of The Year Award for being more offended by a word black people use all the time, than by the actions of a thug. The ref said Harrison "acted like a ni@@er". He did not penalize him for "acting like a black person". There's a difference. Learn it and grow up, dumbfucks.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
that wasnt shoving. shoving would be a single push, that was grounds for ejection this isnt the MMA. He made 4-5 moves in a string of 7 seconds. he had plenty of time to stop his action. I lost all of the respect I had.
Please Mr. Harrison don't hurt me. It wouldn't have been a penalty if he did the decent thing and tried to protect himself...disgusting. This is a contact sport right. I am more sickened by the Cardinal nobody, who probably lost his job over this. I wouldn't want him covering my back...
That doesnt warrant an ejection and sorry I dont see any punching there open handed shoving yes he stayed with his block is all and yes he did go past the whistle and the flag needed to be thrown but certainly no ejection ive seen far worse in games with no flag thrown at all
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
yes, when you are around them alot, you can pick out who is and isn't.. like you mrzpolamalu.. go watch some videos of troy polamalu, he doesn't do this type of asshole stuff
EVERYTHING he did in the video was legal blocking techniques. He just continued after the play end, which is what drew the flag. You may call it acting up, but its just is accurate to call it playing football.
"un sportsman like"
You misspelled the phrase in thwo different ways...

he plays both whatever point is he's not top material. end. I love how I get negged just because people are biased toward their favorite players. I don't go around saying Julius Peppers is the best in the league just because he's on of my favorite players.
how is this a penalty? what was he supposed to do? let him get up and go make the tackle?
football is so soft sometimes in this day and age. he blocked him with a open hand to the chest... big deal. just because hes bigger, stronger, meaner than everyone doesnt mean he should be penalized. instead, we should thank him for playing FOOTBALL
Why you so upset HERSHEY? Harrison was given the penalty that was warranted... unnecessary roughness. Sure, what he did was rude. Sure he shouldn't have let Fransisco talk him into a penalty. But what I find FUNNY is how you Cards fans complain about Harrison's lack of self control while exhibiting a lack of self control yourselves. You guys are what keeps me coming back to this video. You guys keep me laughing. Thanks!!
Read the comment and you can see why. He committed a dumb penalty on national TV. He is supposed to be setting a good example. I have no respect for people like that. Lack of self control? That's what you call it? Ok, then I'll call out your ignorance that shows the Steelers clearly won this game by over-playing the Cards. You're dilusional my friend. Oh, and who ever said I was a Cards fan? No, I'm a Fitzgerald fan as well as a huge Tomlin fan, both of whom are connected to Minnesota.
I have no clue as to what kind of trash Fransisco was talking, but after reviewing the play, I can tell you he WAS running his mouth just before he grabbed hold of Harrison's jersey.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
He acted like a little bitch. The only things in the Steeler vocabulary today is "6 rings bitches" or "you just hatin' the Steelers!" I say, fuck off. What this guy did is unacceptable. Maybe not thrown out, but surely fined. That was rediculous. You have MILLIONS of people watching, including kids, and you pull this shit. Nice role model asshole. Hey Harrison, do you still treat your wife this way? You know, slap her around a couple times, a few bruises and such.... Yeah...thought so.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Heres the thing. he should be ejected in my opinion. This isnt just again game it;s the Super Bowl! This guy made a big play earlier in the game and then does this crap. It's being televised to millions, including KIDS.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I am a die hard steeler fan and harrison should have been ejected. Mike Tomlin needs to have a discusion with silverback on that one. There's such a thing as sportsmanship. Even Jack Lambert knew that, and they didn't come any meaner than him. As much as I love the Steelers that play tainted an other wise great game and win.
people keep talking about a cheap hit.......i dont see. i just see james harrison not letting this guy get down field to make the tackle. no whistle was blown.
you go ahead thinking the win is tainted or whatever you wish, but at the end of the Pittsburgh still brought home the sixth, and hey, also... that is days away, I guarantee all you pansies will be crying about it for the next 5 years. Like anyone else Pittsburgh actually beats.
Brees is one of the best, if not the best passer. I agree, but being the best passer, and being the best QB is not exactly the same thing. Many things that make a player great at any position, are x-factors which cannot be measured, and few people can agree on.
It did look as though Fransisco tried to take out Harrison's knees. Fransisco appeared to be mouthing off as his helmet comes up. And, while getting up he did try to grab a handful of Harrison's jersey.
I don't know if he should have gotten thrown out of the game for that and not because i'm a Steelers fan. I've seen guys throw punches at one another and don't get ejected, which isn't any better then what happened here.
who the fuck are u to tell me what to do. your bitch ass is still livin in the dream world u wish this world would be. too bad it aint. suck it up. sooner or later you're gonna have to learn to take care of yourself instead of having your dadddy and mommy do everything for you ya bitch. fuck the saints they aint shit.
I burned the game to DVD. I just replayed this in frame by frame slow mo. Fransisco never puched his balls, but for the same token, Harrison NEVER punched him. He slapped him, and pushed him down roughly. But, that's all.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
if this had been the cardinals it woudl have been like a 50 yard penatly and the refs woudl have just given the steelers 10 points just for good measure. THE SUPERBOWL IS RIGGED
was this called a penalty i would be interested to know

Awesome, awesome post. Thanks for proving to everyone that not only do you not know the rules of the game that you are complaining about, but you are also a bigot.
Congratulations, you are a giant fucking loser! Now do yourself and everyone else a favor and go hero yourself.
konank666 3 years ago
im sure you havent seen them threwout the whole season. theyre always pushing and shoving divisional teams in the ass. shows how much of a faggot they are, and it also shows how much you pay attention to football.
IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
Good grief, you really are a moron.
We wont even go into the fact that again you are an ignorant, intolerant bigot, let's just focus on your utter cluelessness & complete stupidity when it comes to football(again).
For starters, lets see you name the Steelers who have been ejected from games this past season, when they were thrown out and for what infraction. I'll wait.
konank666 3 years ago
i stated that they play dirty football, that theyre always pushing and shoving other players. that doesnt mean this leads to ejection. you 'ignorant, intolerant bigot'
now for starters, i want you to quote where i said in this channel, that they were ejected. ill wait.

It really, takes a VERY special type of stupidity to be like you. From your very last comment:
"im sure you havent seen them threwout the whole season"
That is what makes you ignorant and an idiot.
Also, calling people "faggots" is what makes you both a bigot and intolerant.
Anything else?
konank666 3 years ago
like i said "i want you to quote where i said in this channel, that they were ejected. ill wait. "

konank666 3 years ago

IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
Does this mean you aren't going to answer the question?
konank666 3 years ago
I love how you accuse the Steelers of playing dirty and are "always pushing and shoving" without actually citing any specific incidents....
Its funny how you don't mentions the Ravens are a dity team for admitting to have put bounties on players and how you don't mention Adrian Wilson is a dirty player for running over pur punter.
Its quite obvious you hate the Steelers and being a hypocrit just to smear their organization is no problem to you.
tg101393 3 years ago
that whole division is dirty. and no, i wouldnt call adrian wilson a dirty football player. he plays with discipline. when did wilson run over yalls punter? or was it when adrian fell at his feet and the punter stepped on him? idk, i dont remember.
hey, hate to tell you, but not only i hate the steelers, the teams in thier division, the raiders, the 49ers, the cowboys also do too. and im sure the rest of the nfl and fans do too.
IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
Remember when Adrians Wilson just flat out ran over our holder? The holder was defensless, down on one knee after a field goal attempt. Wilson (with at least 5 yards notice) ran right into him, showing no attempt to avoid him or slow up. Since our holder on field goal attempts is our punter I reffered to him as such. Sorry if that cuased you some confusion. It was Wilson getting stepped on, it was him charging into a man that had nowhere to go.
Im aware many rivals hate us, but whats ur point?
tg101393 3 years ago
alright, you go ahead and show me that video.
IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
Wait, are you asking me to prove that Adrian Wilson got called for "roughing the holder" when he did exactly that? Believe it or not, he did that and I am not lieing. People who still have the most sour of grapes from this game are even willing to admitt that. I'll work on finding proof becuase you don't remember anything but the dirty Steeler of taking dangerous and stupid penalties....
tg101393 3 years ago
i just wanna see what yardline where he couldve stopped at.
IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
it happened but it was less intentional than th101393 makes it sound. adrian wilson was running full speed and ended up tripping over the holder
CaLbaTr00se 3 years ago
"Intentional" isn't written into the rule.
konank666 3 years ago
i know...hence i said "it happened"
not all penalties are on purpose, they just happen. some are unintentional.
CaLbaTr00se 3 years ago
I know "it happened". If its not part of the rule, then what exactly is the purpose of bringing it up?
konank666 3 years ago
just questioning their moral thinking. kris dielman the san diego chargers guard was ejected for punching a defensive player (even though it wasn't even a punch, instant replay shows he's just moving his arm in a manner that shows like he's hitting the other dude)
im just saying adrian wilsons penalty didnt look intentional while james harrisons did (any objections?)...im not commenting on the calls by the refs which were right besides the fact i believe harrison shouldve gotten ejected.
CaLbaTr00se 3 years ago
So you are using a blown call in ejecting a player in one game as basis that they should eject someone from else a different game? Seriously?
konank666 3 years ago
your saying maliciously punching and shoving a guy thats already down isn't grounds for ejection?
you dont have to answer the question...its probably better for yourself if you dont. shit...cant have an opinion without offending somebody or having some guy jump on you.
I "believe" he shouldve gotten ejected from the game for what he did.
CaLbaTr00se 3 years ago
Well considering that:
A) The ball was still live, the play was still going on and while he probably went a bit over board(thus the penalty) he was maintaining a block on the guy. And more importantly:
B) He didn't actually punch him at all. Unless of course hitting someone with an open hand is now considered "a punch"
Then you really haven't a leg to stand on. As the old saying goes, you are entitled to your own opinions, however you are not entitled to your own facts.
konank666 3 years ago
But he didn't try to slow up or avoid running over him though.
tg101393 3 years ago
pretty sure adrian wilson was thinking "maybe i should not slow down and trip myself over this guy's head"
pretty sure...
plus they run pretty damn fast and response time is really not easily factored in
CaLbaTr00se 3 years ago
1. Lets not assume what he may or may not have been thinking and just pay attention to what his actions were.
2. He is a probowl saftey in the NFL. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he is corrdinated and not clumsy. There was more then enough time to try to slow up and he showed no attempt at doing so.
tg101393 3 years ago
just shut up,ur such a bitch.did u ever think that the steelers are actually a good football team, and deserved to win the superbowl?yeah didnt thinkk so.your too immature to give any credit to something that is great for the sport.
YCFAN123 3 years ago
youre an idiot, theres no such thing as "this team deserves to win" in two teams makes it to the superbowl, they both deserve to win idiot..
IronMaidenDoD 3 years ago
ok lets think here:
Arizona-9-7 in the worst conference in the nfl, virtually no running game, untill postseason.
Pittsburgh-12-4 with the toughest schedual in the nfl and #1 defense in the league..yeah soo i think pittsburgh deserved it no matter what u say.
YCFAN123 3 years ago
ok you go ahead and believe that. so when your favorite team goes 9-7 and ends up going to the superbowl, dont be going for them. go for the opposing team thats 12-4.

that wasnt shoving. shoving would be a single push, that was grounds for ejection this isnt the MMA. He made 4-5 moves in a string of 7 seconds. he had plenty of time to stop his action. I lost all of the respect I had.

play is still going on. nothing in the rules against blocking/pushing.
"He made 4-5 moves in a string of 7 seconds"
are there a rules against the amount of moves a player can do in 7 seconds? no. so what are you whining about?
explain what particular action you say harrison deserved to be ejected for? then i will explain why you are wrong. is that fair enough for you?

EVERYTHING he did in the video was legal blocking techniques. He just continued after the play end, which is what drew the flag. You may call it acting up, but its just is accurate to call it playing football.

how is this a penalty? what was he supposed to do? let him get up and go make the tackle?
football is so soft sometimes in this day and age. he blocked him with a open hand to the chest... big deal. just because hes bigger, stronger, meaner than everyone doesnt mean he should be penalized. instead, we should thank him for playing FOOTBALL

helvistheking 3 years ago
Why you so upset HERSHEY? Harrison was given the penalty that was warranted... unnecessary roughness. Sure, what he did was rude. Sure he shouldn't have let Fransisco talk him into a penalty. But what I find FUNNY is how you Cards fans complain about Harrison's lack of self control while exhibiting a lack of self control yourselves. You guys are what keeps me coming back to this video. You guys keep me laughing. Thanks!!
helvistheking 3 years ago
Read the comment and you can see why. He committed a dumb penalty on national TV. He is supposed to be setting a good example. I have no respect for people like that. Lack of self control? That's what you call it? Ok, then I'll call out your ignorance that shows the Steelers clearly won this game by over-playing the Cards. You're dilusional my friend. Oh, and who ever said I was a Cards fan? No, I'm a Fitzgerald fan as well as a huge Tomlin fan, both of whom are connected to Minnesota.

Yeah...thought so.
hershey5604 3 years ago
I never thought of it as a "block", but that is a valid point. Even so he didn't need to take it that far.

I'm not saying he should have done this, or that it's not a bad image of the team, but it's not as bad as it seems.

Brees is one of the best, if not the best passer. I agree, but being the best passer, and being the best QB is not exactly the same thing. Many things that make a player great at any position, are x-factors which cannot be measured, and few people can agree on.
