  • why doesnt this have more views!!!???? I love it!

  • You know, it's been twelve years... I thought she was hot then. Still hot to me. xD

  • this song just keep playing in my head even in 2012 wow nice song!

  • @MsKwasy Does Radio Disney still exist?

  • Haha! I remember I used to get so excited when this came on Radio Disney.

  • i wonder what she's up to now

  • lol i watched this movie , what was it called?

  • @emilygames12 Snow Day. :)

  • @emilygames12 Snow Day

  • I had her CD and I still remember the lyrics to this song. That was YEARS ago.

  • It's 2K12 and I'm still rocking out to this song. Lol.

  • If she stuck around, she would have been fifth place behind Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, and Jessica Simpson.

  • Yo no joke everytime this video played on Nick, i was there front row singing to everything. Pa ha. Brings back memories.

  • Basically describes my break up. I want to post if on Facebook so bad hahah.

  • Oops meant mandy moore.

  • Manxy moore, her amd jessica simpson ,were the poor mans britney and christina in the ealry 00s.

  • Nostalgia. Before Rebecca Black and Jenna Rose, there was Hoku with her fake snow and her weak, half-asleep synchronized dancing.

  • I love this song still :)

  • Heh, I thought this woman was so beautiful at the time. I was like, 10. I wouldn't be able to listen to this song again now though.

  • I love this song. I hate when guys do this crap.

  • <3 this song she is so pretty Don Ho did a good job with his daughter :-D

  • Am I glad music has evolved from this.Music from the late 1990s and early 2000s leaves a lot to be desired. Bubble Gum Pop is DEAD!!!

  • lol shes telling him to find another dumb blonde. shes calling herself dumb

  • @littleseamstress Haha. I remember kids in elementary school debating over this line. Now I'm in college.

  • @littleseamstress dumb because she fell for his lies and a guy like him

  • @littleseamstress no she saying that she not stupid that maybe he should find a girl who is . because she knows what he does do u get it?

  • I think its awesome that they put scenes from Snow Day and the same characters from the movie in the music video.. its pretty awesome. The scene where they are in the beach, is that from a different movie? Or was just made for this music video?

  • I remember this song back in elementary. The chorus is unforgettable.

  • there's something to this sound... its just so bomb. i dont know why its so exhilarating to me but it just is. this sound is all me.

  • Simply love this song! :D

  • This is a good song. It's hard to believe this song is over 10 years old . Time flies.

Hoku is a nice looking girl and a lovely singing voice as well .

While most teenage girls are singing about going to parties and boys, Hoku has something a bit better to talk about in her songs.

I think Hoku debut album was a good put together piece of work. I find Hoku songs on the album sweet melodies with ethical lyrics. If Hoku is a christian, i would say Hoku would be an angel . : )

  • I remember when my elementary school won the "Snow Day" For A Day contest and the lawn was covered in snow lol and we got to watch the movie after school in the auditorium and Hoku came and performed <333 Those were the good ole days :3

  • @MellorineGirl17 lucky you!

  • @MellorineGirl17

    That is 100% totally awesome.

  • how is it possible that after 12 years i still know the lyrics to this song?

  • @iheartafrojack HOLY COW! It really has been 12 years!

  • @iheartafrojack Because it's a catchy cute song

  • SNOW DAY BROUGHT ME HERE LOL!!!

  • OMG I DEF FORGOT ABOUT THIS SONG!! Because of "The Box Music Network" (Before there was MTV2) I know this song word for word lolol memories!

  • 17 and still love this song

  • I remember I used to listen to this when I was 5 years old and I still know allll the words...

  • Whatever happened to her?

  • thumbs up if snow day nostalgia brought you here

  • omg lol this was so mii jam wen this song first came out LOL

  • Its really sad when I can tell who the real adults on youtube are and the ones who just say they are in their 20's just to get a profile... Not fooling anyone.

  • Took me about 10 years to find this video. I would listen to this song on Radio Disney when i was only 8. Ahh good times! :)

  • This WAS A RAISIN KILLER ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL AND DISNEY RAIDO!!

  • I miss Hoku

  • I loved this song on radio disney :) back in the days when us kids had something to enjoy.

  • Hoku's prettiness is so genuine:)

  • My mom was blonde. she loved this song a lot. lol

  • whats all this 90's talk? this song released in 2000

  • @bradforabit Even if this was released in 2000 it still has the feeling of 90's music.

After 2000, music began to change.

  • OH MY GOD. me and a group of girls made a dance to this and performed it at our after school program back in the day!

  • This is when music was more than breasts, clothes and sex appeal. I miss the 90's. =(

  • @MrChefRick lol Yeah, no one ever used their sex appeal to get ahead in the music industry before 2000. :P

  • God i miss my childhood lol Snow day brings back memories:)

  • After watching this video, it made me realize I would be one of those people who has everything and nothing...

  • If she's so smart, why is she wearing a tank top in the snow?

  • From 2:50 on is probably the best part

  • SNOW DAY WAS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE! IT MARKED THE END OF GREAT MUSIC.

  • I used to be smitten with this blonde chick

  • whatever happend to hoku!?

  • love this stupid song!

  • Snow Day (2000)

  • This chorus has been stuck in my head off and on for the last ten years

  • @Jakerbaker58 agreed but a few more years!

  • Male and 24 we grew up with this stuff and still love it today!!!

  • This was an awesome single! Loved the album too.

  • This was in Snow Day (the movie),right? Or something like that...oh memories :D

  • i use to love this song when i was super little watching disney channel. what's funny is that me listening to this song just for the nostalgia i end up liking it a lot more than i use to simply because the lyrics match my situation right now..

  • This is the song America shud sing to Islam! Lol "It's time for u to just move on" 'cus we don't torture each other and kill our family in so-called 'honor killings' over here, and it's wrong to worship a man-made man in the Moon called Allah and call him God. Sick.

  • Refreshing, cool Pop song! And her voice is so pretty

  • beleve it or mot this is a good song. especially if you are blonde! just kidding. Hoku is awesome. this song, although over-produced, is relevant. its about being looked at in in one dimension. Song speaks to to judgement! idiots!!

  • I never saw the movie "Snow Day" but I wanted too

  • Laughing incredibly hard until 1:02 at which point I couldn't breathe.

  • Bc her father was Hawaiian singer Don Ho-get it?

  • She's a ho! haha

  • this video is in reference to that movie snow day...and if you think its not good you must not have grown up in the 90s lmao...bc shes a great singer wish she would have made more songs

  • wow that was a really stupied song that was like way to predictable and it was 1 of the worst music videos i have ever scene ...waist of my life

  • @jbspinky69dude let me guess, you listen to miley cyrus's shitty music right?

  • @jbspinky69dude Perhaps your time would have been better spent thumbing through a dictionary?

This stuff is classic, you're "stupied"

  • typical, a hot blond got dumped, within a second she has a new one, and her ex regrets.

  • i thoughth this song died many years ago. i heard it for the first time today since like 2002 and i was like "DAUMN NI663R SHIT THIS WAS THE JAMZ BACK IN DE DAY." lol

  • She is SOOOOO FINE!!!

  • This song doesn't seem to have anything to do with the movie! The movie didn't have anything to do with a break up and nobody was blonde!!! WTF?

  • @Iluvcats4 right. the snow vs. the sandy beach confuse me.

  • @Iluvcats4 Seriously. It's like they got the theme songs for Snow Day and Legally Blonde reversed. Perfect Day fits the theme of Snow Day perfectly, and this song fits the theme of Legally Blonde. Hoku's producers must've had a mix up XD

  • @catokeeffe lol thats so true!!!

  • @Iluvcats4 I agree it doesn't have much to do with the movie though one of the characters did actually break up with her boyfriend. Maybe Hoku was singing about that? Though it's kind of weird she would sing about a sub-plot that takes up 10 minutes of the movie.

  • I was in love with the movie Snow Day when I was little

  • love this song.it actually means something unlike others these days

  • @dodgesxt hell yeahhhh

  • This video is most popular with:

    Gender Age

    Female 18-24

    Female 13-17

    Male 45-54

    Uhh...creepy...

  • @roooose16 why not say female 13-24?

  • @roooose16 well males 20-25 knew this song too

  • @roooose16 she is over 18 so its perfectly fine! its basically all these older women in the 40's loving Justin Bieber who is 17

  • @roooose16 middle aged women are obsessed with "Twilight"....everyone is creepy, don't try to pin it on just us guys.

    #Harsh Reality

  • @roooose16 I'm a female in my mid 20s and I don't find it creepy that I'm listening to this song, I don't understand what the problem is? This song came out when I was a teen and don't like seeing comments bashing adults who listen to this song. Hoku made hits during my freshmen year of High School and so sue me for still enjoying it.

You kids don't remember that this song is like 13 years old and some of these Age 18-24 was your age when it came out!

  • @invadergir2011 ...actually, I think the person was saying that it's creepy that males 45-54 years of age are watching this. You know, middle-to older age guys, watching a video with a young girl singing and dancing around... Kind of creepy. I think you're just overreacting.

  • @TokitoTaishiro

And thank you!!! I guess it wasn't obvious enough.

  • @invadergir2011

The OLD MALE VIEWS are the creepy part....Jesus Christ. Guess you're another dumb blonde :p

  • @roooose16: What's creepy is researching stats on a song that's 11 years old.

  • Ah the 90s: a time when we made up for shitty internet connections with awesome music and tv shows.

  • @09smitel the song was out for like the last 2 months of the 90s.

  • @09smitel *sighs* Those were the days, huh? Damn. What I would give to go back

  • I love how after not hearing this song in 10 or so years all of the words came flooding back into my memory. gotta love the 90s.

  • Comment removed

  • @jws2 It's because they wanted to manufacture her, turn her into Britney or Christina. Just a cookie-cutter "pop princess"

  • @MultiMasterflash she should of done it. You see how big Britney and Christina are still today? Big mistake.

  • is this song racist?

  • @dodgesxt specifically, fuck bieber, timberlake, usher, spears, rihanna, minaj, and other mainstream pop stars after 2005.

  • @punishalltrolls woah woah woahhhhh, Timberlake and Spears were in he 90's weren't they??

  • @BB415 they and much of pop stink now. just sayin.

  • @punishalltrolls umm usher was wayyy before 2005.

  • I had a huge crush on her and she didn't have to take all her clothes off and shake anything to get attention.

  • I remember seeing this in theaters after Snow Day was over. I was in love with her. Man, the 90s and early 20s were so awesome: even b4 the 90s. Now it's going downhill.

  • @KTBEverlasting 1920s?

  • @punishalltrolls 2000s

  • holy smokes. my favorite song when i was little!

  • @dodgesxt deffenetly i cant belive i found this lol loved it loved it

  • <'3 I Just Recently Found Her Music Again, And I Was So Happy That My Heart Wanted To Puke RainbowsxD She Was My Early Childhood Inspiration. <'3 Ahh, I Was Like 5 When I Listened To Her. She's Why I Make My Own Music Now, And I'm Only 12!

  • takes me back to 3rd grade!!! i remember she was a guest performer on All That too

  • takes me back to 3rd grade!!!

  • what happened to nickelodeon, it sucks now. i mean spongebob isnt as good as before, & their new shows are shit. bring back the 90s shows and you wouldnt have to be cancelling shows every year.

  • Wow I remember this. I was only 11 years old. I remember turning on the tv and this music video was always on Nickelodeon when the movie Snow Day was coming out. Ha, I remember those computers too. God I feel old.

  • she betta sang this song...

  • I'm not from the 80's or 90's, but this song, Perfect Day, and Time after Time are my childhood. I will never let it go. Thank you dad, for showing me that some music never gets old.

    Thanks, Hoku.

  • @dodgesxt The early 2000s are part of my nostalgia too though!

  • SNOW DAY!!!

  • Oh my god, she's like a Pre Hillary duff.

  • OH HAHA I remember those computers trying to be so cool with all the colors, the laptops too, my school had them.

  • this used to be on disney

  • I used to hear this everyday on Slime Time Live after school back in the day.

  • Loved the 90's lol

  • 0:15 sick flow bro.

  • Comment removed

  • Icremember this song! it was before............ah nevermind. To be honest, I never really like this but, its nostalgia for me nonetheless.

  • awww omigosh this makes me think of Christmas and high school and my crush at the time...miss those days where the shit did they go?!

  • Ha, classic 90s. :)

I remember when Britney Spears played the innocent card.

  • Mayb she's not a dumb blonde becuz she's not actually blonde??

  • Man the 1990s - early early 00s.

Regardless of the circumstances in THIS video, you gotta admit that 3:46 - 3:50 can be painful - seeing the person you were in a relation ship all arm-in-arm with another guy. >_<

  • OMG Claire from Snow Day is the same hair salon owner lady from Don't Mess With the Zohan! xD man I feel like a geezer now...

  • her dance moves lmao.

  • Like, sometimes I miss being 10 so much it hurts.

  • I just heard this in the supermarket. hahahaha damn so many memories... this song used to be the shit

  • OMG!!! This song was released since I was around 9 or 10. I miss ms. Hoku. I hope she would have a come back with lots of new songs and more. I hope she would have a concert at the Philippines.

  • omg i cant believe i remember this song!!! lol. i was 10 when this came out!

  • Hoku turning 30 today makes me feel old as shit :(

  • @blaase I didn't know that

  • why is her name hawaiian yet shes PURE white... wtf

  • @AndrianaKahealani I think she was born and raised in hawaii

  • @AndrianaKahealani Waayyyy back in the day her dad was famous, maybe her mom, too???

  • I find it kind of ironic that the main song of a movie about snow is sung by a girl from Hawaii.
