i bought a couple frabill crawfish traps at cabelas, the circular ones, i cut up a couple bluegill and got up to 30 in heavily populated holes, the square traps are shitty dont ever buy em and there 10 more dollars 2

i swear i seen a crayfish big as a lobster, he was under a bridge in my stream,,i watched him for a while...i should of caught him...i forget why i didnt...it was atleast 10inches long,, never seen one that big ever again...

when i crawdad hunt i use that same trap but what i do is bacon becase it is greasy and chewy.

you have the trap in a great spot, the fish like to be in that area because of the running water, it gives them fresh oxygen.

that metal one is made mainly for minnows. a crawfish trap looks almost like a box. an example is like, the much larger ones, they use on deadliest catch. Bait for Crayfish: meat, dead fish

Bait for Minnows: bread, and cat/dogfood works great

great job....you can do the same thing with some 2 liter bottles, any kind of stinky stuff 'll work great, leftovers from another kill, skin, insides, whatever

USE raw bacon or a wee bit of raw beef crafish go CRAZY last year i cought 54 out of 1 bacon strip
