I think a good way to improve this kinda guitar reviews would be putting them side by side to more common guitars like a les paul or strat. so u can go like. this is how a strat sounds like and this is how a lp sounds like. it sorta gives ppl a better idea of where the sound sits.

@Stringprodigy That's going to totally depend on how you set it up isn't it? - The necks on any Gretsch I've ever played were a little chunky,but as long as you can get action how you want it- what else is there?

It also depends on the neck radius, profile, neck thickness, fret work, plek job, how well the neck is set, etc....Some guitars just don't feel right no matter how you set them up. You could perfectly set up a cheap Fender, but it would never play as well as a Suhr, Anderson, Grosh etc...
