  • try having the napers take thier nap in a sensory deprivation float tank.you will find an hour floating is like 4 hr. sleeping

  • Wonderful presentation! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!

  • Thanks for uploading this!!!

This is brilliant the sort of things that I love to find in youtube :')

Good information, lots of tested facts.

    Useful

  • That was brilliant, and nicely presented. Great to see the empirical evidence supporting the nap, debunking the myth that if you nap you won't sleep well at night (another unhelpful story out there), statistics supporting the contribution to the workplace for nappers. And amazingly napping 3 times a week leads to 37% decrease in coronary heart disease. If you can't sleep or you're making mistakes at work this lecture is very important to listen to. Thanks Sara.

  • Listen to the whole talk including the Q&A. Dr. Mednick's answers to the questions brings out a lot of additional information. This is an excellent supplement to the book. Her work which showed that caffeine decreased performance and her speculation that our perception that it improved it was due to the addictive quality of it may be the motivation to avoid it more.
