If your clip says a Supra doing 400 km/h, it should show the speed of that car in ACTION!

And the speedo in action is to be expected.

I do, they did an insanely powerful V12 in Formula 1 in 1991 and 1992. Ayrton Senna was champion in 1991 with the McLaren-Honda V12.

Also their powerful V12 was the most powerful in F1 in the mid 60's as well. Unfortunately the cars themselves couldn't benefit from that power so they only worked on circuits which benefited power, like Monza, Italy.

In the US, they'd rather have a big V8 not working very hard than a small engine tuned to the max. If someone asked me if I'd like 500HP out of a turbo 4 or a naturally aspirated 7L v8, I'd go for the 7L V8 as well.

FYI there were 4 cylinder turbo american cars tuned very fast even in the 80's - long before any of the japanese cars had been considered for performance.

Tires, mirrors/body panels, brakes.. etc etc. So whoever is gonna bypass the limiter, is also gonna upgrade the other parts.. so the car can do it without fallign apart.

The fixed up Turbo ford Pintos and 4 cylinder turbo mustangs, 4 cylinder turbo Dodge Omni GLH were able to do some damage at the drag strip compared to mildly done V8s but thats just it. Its highly modified 4 cylinder cars against naturally aspirated V8 that are considered mild. Obviously a highly modded V8 will do real damage. An example is the Heffener Ford GT that set a record of 266mph in the standing mile.

look it up, smokey nagata has wanted to do over 400 on nardo for a long time. This is why he made this car, it used to have an RB26DETT in it. i dont know why he didnt stick with the 2j..... 2j's rule

@jamesthq if the celica you own is FWD, I would not recommend anywhere near or over 500whp. It won't put it down without drag radials or slicks. As far as contacting smoky, you can contact Top secret and try asking for him. He actually offers full built motors and trannys for RB26, 2JZ, SR20 and such for a hefty price. Just try calling or email support and request that nagata get on.

@SirRobbins thanks well I've got it tuned to 300bhp at the moment and my engine swap I've used is off a 1997 3SGT Toyota MR2 Turbo 2 litre block and I've already put in some anti wheel spin systems and a slip differencial but my car handles great for the moment. The next stage Im looking at is seriosly beefing up the turbo but forging the pistons and getting a full coil over suspension kit That I can see costing me around £4,000 so I'm interested to get his opinion
