I discovered Shao Rong about three years ago and was so touched by Song of the Lilies, which today is one of my five favorite Pipa instrumentals. I was so enamoured by her interpretations, I have two or three of her CDs.

Shao Rong combines a nice blend of "Western" and "Eastern" music, (A contemporary sound). Any videos of Shao Rong playing her Pipa (Chinese lute)in concert? If you like this music then I recommend the CD "Orchid" by Shao Rong.
