  • Great song and pics! I can tell this is the original version of the song because I, mistakenly, bought the 2002 remaster/re-recording or whatever and it sounds terrible compaired to this! Thank you for posting! Maybe I'll get lucky and find the '95 remaster somewhere.

  • One of the most underrated ozzy songs

  • Awesome playing as always from Jake E Lee.

  • Most euphoric song ever. Feels like your soul is trying to escape from your chest.

  • I saw ozzy inconcert During his blackrain tour. Greatest night of my life so far. He hasnt lost a thing when it comes to his stage presence.

  • Can anybody imagine How Cool The Portion of This Song between 0:50 and 1:15 Would Sound If It was Played in The Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove , California on the Hazel Upright Organ , Or has it Already "Secretly" or "Mysteriously" been played already on something similar to Hazel in another Cathedral ?

  • @369bumblebee I'd like it to be played in St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome!

  • LONG LIVE OZZY

  • I miss guitar solos like this.

  • MY 15 YR SON IS DRIVING ME CRAZY WITH OZZY 24/7 LOL

    M/

  • @THOMAS81Z a 15 yr old likes ol' ozmosis this is good news we need more smart kids like him these days

  • @THOMAS81Z Don't Think your alone sir ... i do the same to my DAD !!!

  • I thought this was Halo 3 at first.. then Mr. Crowley... then FAST MUSIC?!?!?!?

  • first I was listening this awesome song(from bark at the moon Lp) I was 12 years old..so it was like a explosion of adrenalyne to me,a few years after I saw Mr.OZZY live in Madrid in 1989...yeah a long long time,It was HEAVY GREAT ¡¡ jejej...anyway

OZZY STILL ROCKS TODAY...This music never die.

    salute you from spanish rocker.

    D.

  • nerdy. makes me think of halo at the first.

  • Jake was truly the WIZARD in Ozzy. Absolutely Magical.

  • @todrrez i knoow.....ozzy should have broght him back when he kicked zakk out instead of hiring that little douchebag gus g.

  • @harveydents Gus G isn't a douchebag!! He just got sucked into Sharon's web of radio friendly money making shit songs. He had no input into the making of the album. Ozzy just needs to make a metal album that is heavy as shit and doesn't care if it sells 1 copy!! I bet its would be one of his best if he could just not worry about and make METAL!! make it so no radio station would play it! The fans would!!

  • @42johnnywonton yeah ozzy has reached the apex point. he needs to put out shit now that NO radio station would dare touch But his fans would grab up instantly. stuff to make even the current metal stars bowdown in reverence to the lord of metal himself, the oz.

  • Love it hun played it at my late hubby's funeral as one of his best songs xx

  • Hi Spanky,i'm from Italy,i am a sound engineer, play the guitar, keyboards and sing(it's relative)Now,i am very happy that a person younger than me is expert about Ozzy.

I use to say that Osbourne is the father of my musical ispiration,i love that someone younger than me discover the real H M.I'm 44,but i'm steel here, untill i'll go into the darckness!!!HI HI HI p-cucchia@tiscali.it

    Hi guy

  • The organ intro reminds me of Mr. crowley.

  • The bells at the beggining remind me of metallicas for whom the bell tolls.

  • Now THAT'S a fucking guitar solo.

And a key to this solos greatness is the song behind is it moving through different phases as well, taking the solo on a little journey

  • Thanks, this is one of my fave OZ tunes.

  • Jake is amazing he should go back to ozzy I don't like this gus dude the new album only has ONE good song on it.

  • @TheOneMetallica1 The new Album is his last album and Gus is a pretty good guitarist I like the new one but I like newer metal better than stuff my parents use to listen to... Just saying people have different tastes.

  • ..... this was my first album . i remember persuading my father to buy it for me ...was around 11 years old .... im 37 now and hell i still love this album . great ...simply great album .

  • @brilaf01 I turn 37 in 3 days bro, and I too remember getting this album on wax when I was 10! I fucking loved the album cover! The "Speak of the Devil" cover freaked me a little, but the Black Sabbath songs on there were awesome! I miss the old days! \m/

  • @djdamageinc1973 ....happy b day mate then . i turn 37 in 12 days bro and i tell you i still love this album just like the first time i laid my hands on it . i remember i saw ozzy perform on a tv show called solid gold ....if i remember well it was bark at the moon ....and that was it . i was hooked for life . ozzy introduced me to metal but he still rules to this very day . ....miss the old days too bro .

  • First time i heard this the first thing that came to mind was Halo: Combat Evolved.

  • OH Sweet Metal.

  • Jake E Lee made this song.

  • I bought Bark At The Moon, and this sucked on it. Because it was the new version. You almost couldn't hear guitar at all, and bass was a way too loud, and sounded like it would have been played to another song. This is much better!

You can hear that he's already having problems with his voice, if you compare this to Mr Crowley or Paranoid. His voice doesn't get as high as before and as strong as before...

  • @The7thsonof7thson Oh jesus...give me a break. This song kicks ass!...Period. I'm probably a little to focused on the guitar though. Jake E Lee could shred.

  • @04mustangSVT What idiot would doubt your comment. Jake E Lee is awesome, and this song still kicks ass even though the song is 27 years old.

  • big fan since i heard black sabbath

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is ROCK

  • me and my sister gave this song a nickname because of the vocal intro - the halo song.

  • Jake E. Lee was a beast!!!!

  • killer solo

  • Is this the 1983, 1995 or 2002 version?

  • @cidiose original version

  • 1:15 lift-off!

  • halo stoleh intro from him

  • @rexinator1O1 i was thinking the same thing, and that's why i came to youtube to see if anyone in the comments thought the same. guess so :D

  • (I wonder),You know, at the beginning of this track you hear that Church Bell strike.... Well, the METALLICA song "For Whom the Bell tolls" has the same theme... Hmmm ,"Bark at the Moon was released in 83..."Ride the Lighting" was released in 84... Can't help wondering if there was some sort of collaboration, in the recording process ?

  • @ziggy72170 highly doubt it. I mean maybe, these bells show up in alot of music really. like most commonly hells bells. but also in disarm, by smashing pumpkins. I think that in some sense, in specific eras of music there are likely to be alot of similarities, even though styles are completely different. I think that the bells are perfect for an intro for both songs, pertaining to the themes. However someone may have used the idea after they heard it, but wouldnt go as far to say collab

  • @efs165;;;; Valid point, but disagree somewhat.

  • @efs165 this song is noooooo where near smashing pumkin era I was like 14 when this came out and I am 41 now lol

  • @MetalHeadforChrist oh you're absolutely right man. I was referring only to recurrence of sounds or specific tonalities throughout DIFFERENT ERAS of music, such as these dark and awesome bells. or the bell sounds in disarm. although completely different songs, and different eras, they still share some commonalities, quite fascinating really

  • This is the was the song should sound. My damn Cd does not sound like this.

  • genious!!

  • I F..king love this F..king song, and this fabulous f..king artist.The vid kicks a.s as well.

  • I F..king luv this F..king song, and this fabulous F..king artist.....The vid fits great as well

  • @fatalerror482 ....So well put.Master Piece.First time I heard was a wake n bake 15-20 years ago...Talk about lucky. My first hear of this tune was in perfect mindframe. It's equally good on today the soberest of days.

  • thier isnt a song hes made tht isnt great and a work of fucking art ozzy is just tht good

  • great song

  • The riff at 4:55? Un fugging believable!!! Atonal madness!

  • So ethereal...

  • The intro reminds me of the original Halo.

  • bark at the moon, one of ozzys best, and that's saying something. Jake e lee is sick

  • I gotta travel forever!

    Anthology Metal!

  • This song is a "Freakin Four Star" !!!! It's fast & Killer ! Great Solo Part !!! Most Definitely my Favorite on this Album !

  • god i love those bells

  • One of Jake E Lee's best guitar riffs and the solo just rips. R.I.P. Randy Costillo. Guitar fills are also a signature from Jake. Even when the riff is just basic he adds these little bits here and there and they make all the difference. I love Nuno Bettencourt and Richie Ktzen for that too. That sort of guitar playing is so natural and spontaneous (or you can make it seem that way with variations, instead of just copying and pasting your parts).

  • youre the one riding the fuching crazy train ive been the prince of darkness since 1979 god thts the only gud WoW commercial that i like
