TMNT FF and BTTS was only made because 4kids TV said they were getting too intense, so in order to stay on air they had to make FF & BTTS. Which was only made to stay on air.

Thus saying that the two so called "seasons" are similar to the 2K3 series but not actually connected. Which puts them in the category of "series".

(IMO) These two series were probably the most rubbish I've seen of TMNT.

@chris200830 Yeah we want this generation of children to get a taste of TMNT, but not a spoon full. These little kids are already playing MK9. It's unbelievable really, but they like violence. When they look at this they don't like it. But when they saw the 2K3 one they liked it more. It had more story and background then this version will ever have.

This generation of children are getting smarter faster then ours, or getting exposed to more mature stuff at a young age, we kind of too. Spawn.

@MOJUTMNT i see what you mean. but, just so you know, i do like the storyline a bit better in the 2k3 series. the old one was pretty goofy for the most part until the last 3 seasons, which were dark, mysterious and interesting (at least for me). but it's still just a matter of taste, the classic series had a certain charm to it that this one lacks.

I've bean rewatching the old series and the 2003 one, I really love both, each of it has its charm, and has something i don't like, but still both entertaining ;) I haven't seen this one (planning to) but I'm annoyed that the planned 2012 series will be CGI!! I love animated series but they've all been recently been replaced into CGI and I'm like Not This 1 too!!! what this generation needs is a taste of real animated series (just my opinion :P)

You know what's ironic and weird? In the 87' cartoon, in the beginning, the Turtles were all fun and goofy, barely taking anything seriously. Then the last 3 seasons, they were serious and badass 100%.

Then, from the 2K3 Turtles, its the opposite. The first 5 seasons, it was serious and mature. Then towards Fast Forward and BTTS, it got light-hearted and less serious. 0_o

TMNT was a comic before it was a TV show and in that they were serious, dark and super bad-ass, it was the 87' cartoons that made them more fun and goofy so that it could be a TV show(aimed at kids), even the 2003 series wasn't even close to the comics.

@SkaterGirl206 It's because 4kids TV said they were getting to violent so in order for them to keep the show on air they had to make it more kid friendly. The 2K3 series had one episode cancelled, it was going to be more messed up then the episode "Insane in The Membrane". The episode was "Nightmares Recycled". Also FF and BTTS doesn't really count as the 2K3 series, but more of a way to stay on air, or you get kicked off TV.

(IMO) They should make one on HBO like the original comics. >:)

The only thing I didn't like about seasons 6 & 7 were the designs/styles. The coloring was way too light, not dark like in the previous seasons. Not to mentions that they added angled edges and anime-ish pupils in the eyes. XP

I'll be honest here i liket this season and the 2003 one, but fast foward was waaaaaay fast horrendous.

I grew up with the 1987 cartoon, but i actually like more the 2003 one for bering more serious and dark, unlike de 1987, Fast Foward....i don't wanna talk more about it, BUT BTTS was a really good come back for the Turles, and Turtles forever was also fantastic, can't wait for the 2012 nick show.

I honestly dont know why everyone is acting up over this season. I actually LOVED it! I was 12 when i watched it for the first time and i remember being sooo excited to watch it. I couldnt wait any longer and that the designs were close to the 2007 CGI Turtles.

Now im 15, I still love it but i kinda liked the older seasons better. And their new eyes do make them cuter and younger but their older white eyes made them older and cool.

Ahhh. The reason I still cherish the 1987 series and hope they keep with the darkness of the TMNT film.
