@LiquidForceMan no. unless your verry efficient at building winches. not if its your 1st winch. you lose power many places your better off with a little bigger engine. i weigh 187 and my friend and i built one using a 6.5 hp with torque converter. has an odd power-band for me im almost too heavy for the 1 we built. it will get me up to 23ish still tho at top performance its the power you want, not just the ability to pull
