'mon shudhu mon chhuyechhe' seems a near-copycat job off Dr Hook and the Medicine Show's "When You're In Love with a Beautiful Woman", from the Seventies. Please search on YouTube. I just did, before stating this!

A few years ago a cyber friend sent me this tune with great enthu, certain I would like it. I did, but I also realized it was a copycat tune as I used to follow Dr Hook.

It is a shame we lack the courtesy to give credit where it is due!

Actually, the 1st song runs more like a poem (kinda like a haiku) - I'm Bangladeshi & Hok Kolorob is my current ABSOLUTE fav song - but it doesn't make "sense" like a traditional love song or something.

Mon Shudhu Mon actually does have meaning & it's prettier with the words - but the tune is just lovely too :).
