@elvis99 When Elvis wrote Priscilla out of his will, he also stipulated she was not to use the Presley name. She went back to her maiden name, and after his death used both names for awhile before going to Presley. I don't care is she uses the name myself, but apparently Elvis didn't want her to.

One thing is true, he did not get over her. The Memphis Mafia stated in their book that Elvis told them many times he wanted to get back w/ her after lisa grew up and he was 50 and she was 40. Who knows maybe it would have happened.

They DID have a physical relationship before, during, and after Lisa. I was just paraphrasing what Priscilla said in her book leaving out much of the detail.

Child Bride was of course not true starting with the title since she was 18 when she moved into Graceland and almost 22 when they married, but Priscilla's book and movie wasn't the truth either. She has even refuted her "tech" virgin bride claims in later interviews referring to after she was 18 and moved in. In her movie she just trashes Elvis horribly in an attempt to justify her own affairs among other reasons.

I understand why Priscilla had to divorce Elvis, but they always loved each other, that much was clear. They had a complex relationship. How often in life people love each other, but simply cannot live together. This was the case here. I think he loved her till the day he died, and she him. I'm glad she gave him Lisa, whom he adored. What a sad ending, but so much better that Elvis lived and shared his talent with the world.

I truly do not believe Elvis ever got over the loss of his mother. I think losing her had a great deal to do with his decline and eventual death. Other factors may have contributed, but I think losing his mother was more than he could bear.
