It's a plane for the FSX and I think it is as accurate as it gets.

Did you turn off engine management? I noticed your engine temps were constantly at 100° or 110°. The Spitfire tends to boil very quickly at low altitudes. Even with the radiator set to fully open.

Btw, where can I see your system specs? The game runs very choppy on my machine, if at all.

@Racefreak1976 No, I always have complex engine management and temperature effects turned on. It's true I tend to run the motors a little too hot... I figure I ain't paying for the repairs anyway, so let's cut more drag!

I took a long break from flying games, so this LP went on hold for far too long... but now I'm feeling a craving to slip the surly bonds again. I want to finish the Silent Hunter LP, then get airborne.

The details of these aircraft are amazing, the gun play as well. Look forwards to the real missions, but its nice being introduced to these amazing machines.

Actually, the earth rotates at approximately 1033 miles per hour, your speed is just tacked on to that. Not to be a stickler for details or anything. ;)
