  • how durable is this model?

  • @tacticalking161 LIFEBOOK T4410 and its successor the T730 are solid business rugged Tablet PCs with many features that make it a durable machine designed to be on the road in commercial environments. It was also awarded a 'Best Products of 2009' distinction by CRN Test Center. Feel free to DM us for more info!

  • I am going to order one of these, but my question is, what software is best? I am going to usei t for school, i need to be able to take notes, and draw pictures at the same time, i'd like to be able to change pen colors quickly, and maybe pen size(pen size isn't that important).

  • @asmcriminaL For note-taking in school, you'll like Microsoft OneNote on our Tablet... If ordering a LIFEBOOK T4410 it may come with OneNote 2007, and if ordering a new unit, configure it with a Microsoft Office 2010 suite which will include the new version of OneNote 2010 (except Office Starter). Hope that helps!

  • since theres no optical drive, is it still possible to install different programs onto it like photoshop?

  • @vi0lentvicky The T730 and predecessor T4410 Tablet PCs both have modular bays meaning they DO have an optical drive and you can actually pop it out when you want to and replace it with a modular bay battery, modular bay 2nd hard drive or a weight saver which simply closes the bay with nothing inside to reduce weight. So there IS an optical drive and of course you can install all your software programs as needed.

  • Do you recomend this computer for medical office ,patient contac?

  • @goodyones Yes, LIFEBOOK T730 (replaced T4410) is a flexible Tablet PC light enough to carry around a demanding medical environment, transitions easily to a notebook for desktop productivity, has the security features needed to protect sensitive data, can be lightened up w/ a weight saver, and provides extended battery life for all-day use with modular bay battery. Pen functionality allows you to take notes, sketch a diagram and quickly tap to navigate while touch lets you flick thru records...

  • Great!

  • For touch screen notebooks the Windows 7 is a hell of a beast...I've tried it, and i was impressed. As long as the touch screen is good, you will have no problems with Windows 7.

  • Just wondering, is the screen pen pressure sensitive like a wacom tablet?

  • @ToSMoProductions The T4410 actually uses a Wacom digitizer ~ it's a Dual Digitizer meaning it supports both Active (pen input) and Capacitive 2-finger touch input. It is pressure sensitive and will allow you to draw thicker/thinner lines etc. depending on pressure in applications that support pressure sensitivity.
