  • the special thing is high voltage with low current ... But it's not a problem though !

Your rpms might be enough to fly, but it could be much better with 1500 rpm, i saw once a fury with 1800 rpm think it really helped to control the quad bladed head

By the way where did you get your head ? I'm willing to build my own a109 rega from my gasser

    thx

  • I made the head, blades and mechanics myself. the head is articulated.

I'm trying to get it to fly well at a low rpm for that little extra scale look and high efficiency. I think I got it flying well now but I will need to test it more before I try doing proper fast forward flying.

There was a gusty breeze that day which is why it's rising and descending so much. :)

  • pm sent ;)

  • what ??!! 45A esc ?! and HV ! Your configuration is pretty special !! Hope it's better cause your initial 900 rpm were realy too low to provide a stable flight ...

  • What's so special about it? :) It's not a 3D heli.

I have flown four blade rotors as low as 850 rpm before. The Agusta now runs at ~1150 rpm main rotor rpm with weighted blades.
