I thought it was overrated....I think for someone who was in the SeaOrg for 22 years he could have reavealed much more of the tactics / training in the paramilitary arm of the COS. I felt it was more of his life story then a revealing of the Church's inner workings....

I just started reading " A piece of blue sky" by Jon Atack....this book is great so far and seems that Atack really digs deep down.

I would highly recommend it.

You'd be surprised at how good they are at getting blood out of stones. It's a different world inside the cult, something that comes across in John's book; they become totally focused on scientology to the exclusion of all else thanks to the training and the regimes. The book provides quite an insight in to how the cult picks up the weak and usurps their good qualities to make them cult zealots. Worth reading by anyone thinking it's just another bunch of nutters.

The video is a very short low resolution sample, taken from a similar site to the various cloud footage. Can't remember the exact site, did a google search etc. The full high res version is available for a fixed fee but that wasn't necessary as we grey scaled it, ramped up the contrast and then re-colorised it to get the effect we wanted. The other background footage used is of the Atlanta Georgia raid with the 30 riot police, which I think was filmed by GumbyTheUnstoppable.
