You can tell its June, the sun is so low in the sky, tyhat was about midday probably, the sun only rises to 23 degrees above the horizon, so your own shadow is 2.5 times as long as yourself. The clear weather makes it look beautiful. Chch has that sparkling weather in the winter, when theres not snow or 6 degree southerly rain. Its probably about 8 -12 degrees in that video.

It always cracks me up when I'm back in Chch and you can jsut drive around with no traffic, no waiting. It's great. Try driving across town in Melbourne sometime

I liked Christchurch when I was there after Christmas when I took 3 weeks vacation to NZ. Stayed at the Christchurch Central YHA. Plan on going back sometime.
