  • an A ? bitch please. I'm an engineer student -> A = C

  • sandman

  • not bad

  • He sounds like a sports psychology teacher, but this guy is multi-talented!

  • number 11 might make me study the hottie instead

but yeah i think Its cool in the fact that you're more likely to be intreseted in the same subject as the hottie is in.

  • this is not the whole thing umm like really

  • Practicing on the test! lol

  • He looks really uncomfortable.. :S

    good job though!

  • He would be doing number 11 throughout college, but since he said these techniques have always worked for him, I think he's keeping away some earlier info. ;) I think he forgot to mention number 12: make sure you are also attractive, but I think he's too used to looking this way to mention it. I honestly wish I could hear the other tips. I'll check his website.

  • actual tips start at 1:45

  • @CowFish7 how are you able to link the time with the video?

  • @albelleth Just type it and it will do it for you

  • he should really get to the point fast bc i get distracted REALLY fast.

  • very intresting, now i'm gonna study for real

  • IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF READING TO STUDY:

i crammed 9 chapters into one night of studying for a final, here's how i earned my A: get 3 colors of highlighter. use yellow the most. the other colors (i used orange and green) are for topics.

    1. skim through the paragraph without highlighting

    2. go back to the top of the paragraph and highlight the topic, then use the yellow to highlight the actual details.

    3. repeat until the chapter ends.

    4. read only highlighted stuff. the colors work with memory.

  • @tmac9938 part 2:

-there's a lot of garbage in text books, even mid-sentence. as you highlight, skip over many words and ONLY highlight the minimum words required to communicate the message in broken english.

-green and orange are for MAIN topic and SUB topic

-yellow is for the actual details

-use the same colors every time and your brain will program itself to know that GREEN = Main topic, ORANGE = Sub Topic related to green, YELLOW = Sub Topic related to orange. any psyche major will confirm.

  • @tmac9938 correction: YELLOW = details related to orange.

  • @tmac9938 I dont' know if your method will work for everyone. Perhaps you have a very good memory. But other people who does not have good memory, will probably have trouble with your method.. It might work for some, and not work for other..I feel the only way to do well is to put in the amount of time to make sure you get the good grades.. Only hard work, constant studying, and sacrifice will give good grades for the most part.. Some people like you, manage to get an A easily but not eveyrone.

  • @stockmaster1982 my memory is notably terrible, which is why my method worked for me. it uses subconscious memory association to force the info to your head. but basically anytime a test took a sentence EXACTLY out of the book, my brain saw that sentence in the color it was highlighted and flooded all related highlighted sentences up to my conscious. it basically FORCED the memory for me. it was very cool. it's like brainwashing yourself, you cant help but to have it work. fyi i'm a 3.0 student.

  • DOES THIS WORK??

  • I have English and physics test on Monday and I am procrastinating by watching these videos! Ha :(

  • This fuker looks stoned and always would have scored an F in school..

  • Great video, thanks a ton for posting! I want to see the other tips btwn 3&11 that you skipped. Could you post the list in a comment or as the video's description please?

Also the whiteboard trick posted below looks great:)

    Thanks again!

  • I'm taking Japanese, and I bought a whiteboard, markers, and eraser a week back, and that small $10 whiteboard is so incredibly useful in studying things like biology, calculus, or Japanese, because you can repeat yourself infinitely without feeling like you're wasting your paper, it doesn't cramp your hand as much as a pen or pencil, and if you do it enough, it turns to second nature. You can watch TV or whatever you want, just sitting there putting facts to near-muscle memory. Great video.

And thank you honestly for these. Hopefully i can ace my AP exam now ^_^

  • Thanks man, i hope it'll benifit me.

  • Seems a bit odd until you apply it. I didn't follow them all, but using rules 3, 10, 5 and then 4, I feel helped me get a perfect score on a math test after having viewed this.

#3 - Helps identify areas needing greater concentration, or what you don't know.

#10 - Dedicated studying & exposure to as much info possible, mainly on the area of focus.

#5 - Research studies say you absorb info best prior to going to bed.

#4 - A good nights sleep, relax & wait until class time.

  • go to his website, everything is much easier to read on the board

  • thanks for the technique for studying organic chemistry. the reactions are starting to make more sense

  • LOL #11 ROFLROFL

  • this really helps! thanks so much!!

  • Micro\macro mgmnt , do a lot of stuff fast use the time saved to do more stuff

categorize everything in a big list , and have a concept of time .

then you need to plan exactly what you need to do and as you go along and see how fast you learn also how much time you need to learn a given subject

  • I always pull alnighters before the day of my tests and I always get A's. And before when I didnt do it i would always get B's. SLEEP for me= NO

  • Wahhh number 11 is distracting1@#

  • just for anyone who's wondering, ive been using these steps for the first few weeks of my senior year in highschool. works like a charm :)

ESPECIALLY - not studying the day of. ALWAYS start when you first find out you'll be having the test, whether it be a week before or a few days before, then study bit by bit leading up until the night before. then SLEEP! then = A

  • its really no secret. your brain cant adapt to new things just as fast as your muscles getting stronger noticeably. only over a period of days or weeks of studying or understanding a concept will your brain know and apply with ease. im sure youve felt the difference.

  • thanks foe doing this^^~

  • I dont know what your name is, but what you doing is great, i really apperciate. Thank you!

  • I like number 11 the best.
