  • This is a good drill video.

  • Wheres your stomping in? We have to stop in after turning

  • @Clarky702 same here

  • @julian1064 1. This cadet is simply demonstrating the movements; 2. this cadet is only a C/SrA not even an NCO, So let's all go easy on him...; Also you should find a good demonstration of cadet drill, Not a seinor airman teaching some basics...Cadet First Sergeant, NV-027.

  • It so fucking gay

  • im tech sergent but i guess if your still in you are probally a captin

  • This actually the worst type of drill iv'e ever seen i complaetely agree with @ukdrift123 I'm apart of the Canadian Army Cadet program, and we also stomp our feet. It looks really lazy :P

  • @julian1064 lucky you guys get army im 18 about to join the Army next month but only thing we got is Navy Cadets Civil air partol young mariens and thats it far as i know

  • I`m 14 And i`mma girl :S And I Want to join the army cadets, plus i live in Canada. I`m thinking of joining it, but FIRST, i really want to know, what you guys do, like the training and all the things that you guys do in canadian army cadets so, if you what find out because i can't find it here :( . Please tell me the basic training and if Anyone\s reading this, and you know ANYTHING About it, messg me ASAP ! Thank you :) !

  • @KrazyForJesse if you would*** find out :|

  • @KrazyForJesse This is Civil Air Patrol but joining the Army Cadets is a great idea!

  • @CQBAirsoft130 Oh Alright ! & Thank youu :D

  • dude are you 12 and in the army?

  • In Canada (and the rest of the Commonwealth), we don't shine combat boots. It gives the enemy something to spot.

  • Why is everyone talking about British? I mean, this is the United States Air Force Auxiliary.

  • british drill is a lot easier

  • I cant get over your about turn :)

  • i dont mean to offend any1 but british drill is much smarter

  • Comment removed

  • When you do an about face your right leg should NOT bend

  • haha about face sucks on carpet....i remember going to see a drill sergeant late at night during basic training and i kinda tripped on the about face...i felt like such a douche bag lol

  • (TIP) when at attention, do NOT lock your knees or you could pass out. Trust me ive seen it happen.

  • CAN ANYONE HELP...

Im British and about to start cadets soon, but ive noticed all the comments are saying about him 'sliding his foot' instead of 'stamping' ?? i don't really understand, what part of it does the USA do different to us in Britain?

  • @mysoldierrg I'm a Britsh Arm Cadet. When you stand to attention, your left leg goes up to a 90 degree angle and you stamp in.

  • @mysoldierrg go take at this video. Even if its Canadian, its quite the same thing.

    /watch?v=gvZw2PB1jds

  • Hey if any one can give me any tips to cap would me great im hopfuly joing next week

  • To everyone complaining about "sliding his foot" that is how CAP does it. That is how the Air Force does it, Army and Navy, as far as what I've been told, do "stamp" their feet.

  • im in the ser of florida and im in stuart composite squadron and im going to grab my sargeant(he is also my friend :) ) and make a vidoe like this save more advanced stuff

  • Thank you I have just became a cadet and this helped me practices basic drills :)

  • This was very helpful, thank you! (:

  • sliding, what the fuck?< lift your leg to a right angle and stamp, so much smarter!

  • Im not just saying this because im british but you got to edmit that stamping insted of sliding your foot looks better the british army does this.

  • @ukdrift123 pooping in the potty are poopsack mcyes

  • Your feet have to be at a 37.5 angle so when you turn there is No gap between your toes and heel on the feet

  • Sad bunch of losers...

  • @12llamas12 agreed

  • thanx sooo helpfull thats the 1 fin im stugglin wiv is drill av to keep practicin

  • do more videos please. this was so helpful!! Thank you!

  • yes I really needed all this, because I'm going in the army next year encoring to my shipping date.. Now, the thing is that I'm getting used to English language and it is difficult to me.. THANKS! IT IS APPRECIATED!

  • About face always gets everyone the first time heh, i got yelled at my DI at boot camp cause i couldnt do it the first couple times, it was funny and embarassing..

  • Thanks Man. I enlisted Navy in August and I've been having trouble with About Face, quite helpful.

  • Very helpful, I just enlisted in the Navy two weeks ago. Haven't been to a DEP meeting yet (tomorrow) and ya i'm nervous because i'm not sure about things and I HATE being unprepared for things. I already know i'm going to be behind people on the physical stuff i've been doing some videos on youtube to help motivate me to get more in shape (actually i need to go make a new one)

  • @nickm16a2 Im a Sea Cadet!!! lol. The petty officers treat us like soldiers.

  • you should do a video how to cut the hair correctly, unless in the navy it doesnt require the same hair as the army

  • HOOOOOLY SHIITIIIITTT YOU AMERICANS DO IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DIFFERNET WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in australia about turns you turn around, and then move your legs, its easier because you dont have to practis untill you can out your foot in thr right position.

also at the end of about turns, and any other turns, we lift up our legs, 35 centermetres of the ground, with our legs at a 45 deggree angle, then slam it down into position.

  • in australia turns, and bout turns are waaaaaayyyyyy different, so different

  • @crangesJ lol don't watch american drill, watch some ACF videos, i only use this for regimental because they are similar.

  • What the fuck is this air or navy

  • hmm great video im tired of training cadets in my squadron. im just going to show them your video.

  • is capt the same as jrrotc?

  • No Stomp? :O

  • @uknowuloveme01 you grammar shit try reading grammar book and shit

  • @nickm16a2 hahahaha you know why i wouldn't join sea cadets? i don't want to be a semen.

  • @drey4lyfee wow did u just say sarge...

  • @iSoftware1234 You know of Left/Right, FACE, you turn and you move your foot up to get back to that 45º angle like he's doing? I keep doing that for About, FACE and I keep rotating on the balls of my feet. Gah! And I almost have to keep myself from tripping over my feet :P.

  • @iSoftware1234 I never get my feet back at the right position T_T. The others are fine though :P.

  • I always fuck up on About, FACE D:<.

  • @chibigrunt I actually do pretty good, but theirs no point because i fucking hate CAP!

  • @coolcatevan9 What, haha.

  • @chibigrunt Its just full of sad sad cunts.

  • @coolcatevan9 Well, I'm not in CAP, nor do I think I'm a sad cunt either >_>...

  • @chibigrunt Good! Your not in this sick cult, I'm a registered member, but rarely do i participate, and when I do, I annoy the F*** at them

  • @coolcatevan9 Oh, man, is it the arrogance and the way they stride their rank or just the general cuntiness of everyone -__-u?

  • @chibigrunt Idk they just piss me off, :(

  • @coolcatevan9 That's the best feeling, isn't it, lol? Someone just pisses you off, but you don't have a legitimate reason- I get that a lot -__-u. But, again, I am a little too judgmental. Even if I don't mean to be.

  • @chibigrunt mine never end back up at a 45 Degree angle thats why sometimes i get knocked out on the knock out drill we have with the battalion

  • Thanks so much for this, I just did this today in ROTC and it has helped me a lot thanks so much!!!

  • hmmm... I was a cadet, now a senior member... I appreciate you trying, but you should not bend your knees when performing an about face. (AFM 36-2203 if memory serves)

  • thanks im an new rotc cadet and i didnt rely know how to turn thanks

  • IF you are in AUSTRALIA DO NOT use these drill movements. The about turn is way different and in Australia you have raise your boot

  • thank you! i do navy/sea cadets in Australia, well ive only just started and ive found it hard with the marching. now i can practice the basics. if you could, please do a video on more advanced drills? thanks :)

  • @nickm16a2 FUCK YOU

  • I am in CAP and NJROTC... the branch pride is frustrating ;) hahaha

  • Youre not anything until you graduate from basic training, thats like those selected to go to spec ops school they wouldnt call themselves seals or green berets even before they start the first week.

  • Hey, what wing are u from?

  • The us military doesn't use timings when doing drill?, here in Canada, we use timings, for right, left and about turns, it's 1231, 1 being the initial movement, and the final 1 being the end

  • hey cadet, I know the basic drills I'm in AFJROTC. but do have any idea why they put me as a C/CMSgt(Command Chief) I just joined the program and I already skipped like 8 ranks. And I know nothing about Civil Air Patrol all I know is about Inland Search and Rescue. oh and they old us we're going to be wearing the ABU's Weird.

  • This is a great video. I have been the CAP for only 2 weeks and this refreshes my brain on how to do this. The meeting was canceled last week because the high school we meet at is being demolished so I couldn't practice with out somebody correcting me if I did something wrong. A sincere thank you for posting this video.

  • @nickm16a2 im in C.A.P but were is the sea cadets located

  • im in C.A.P im Staff Sergent and i control my flight witch is called kilo and my commander is going to help me get into the airforce

  • @uknowuloveme01 Try doing Canadian Drill. you get in shit if you don't place your foot in the EXACT Placement area... But yeah, English drill would be hard too.

Cpl. Tyler E/L Luke, 172 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron

  • Why do you not stamp your feet together in the US. You make it more difficult for yourself on about turn. Just pivot and about turn instaed of moving your foot behind you.

  • For posting the video!!!*. Lol opps

  • Awesome, thanks so much for b

  • @nickm16a2 I would never call myself a marine until the point I earn my EGA in boot. I've said that i'm IN the marines before, because technically as a Poolie you are enlisted, have started your term of service, and are in the marine corps ready reserve. (I read my papers sitting in the waiting room at MEPS lol) but ya, I would get offended too, and i correct my friends whenever they say i'm a marine... because I'm not yet.

    With Respect,

    Phil Kubin

  • @CAPTutorialized what wing are you with im from the indiana wing from C/Amn Harrison

  • @CAPTutorialized none of the marines or army are near me :( so I am forced to do CAP.

  • This is so basic compared to BA drill...

  • I don't know it could just be me but the Commonwealth drill to me seems so much easier than this. I'm in the RCAirC and as much as I like learning different styles of drill I still think ours is the easiest and nicest. Personally opinion no insult intended.

  • Thx alot man, I am in acf, just started recently, and we have annual inspection soon, and I can't remember everything : S thx alot man : )

  • im in acf im a nco

  • try give me your gun . get down

  • Secondary movement.

  • Thanks for the video.......I just joined 3 weeks ago and was having a difficult time doing a left and right face.

  • @chesterlespaulFAN would it be C/AB?

  • @chester14lespaulFAN well what's the first one?

    C/something Reese Branson

  • Hey, I'm in cap , but I'm a new member. the BDU's are being issued tomorrow. Am I to buy my own combat boots, or will they issue me some. Thank you

    C/PVT Reese Branson

    Lone Star Composite squadron

    Air Force Auxiliary

  • thats not how udo right turn and about turn u suck

  • @halil536 are you in the CAP??

  • @halil536 Are you in the CAP? cuz he did it correctly.

  • DO NOT DO THE FOLLOWING: Lock your knees at attention. never bend your knees. if you feel a numbness or disorientation, keep your knees locked. then, shift about, being sure to draw as much attention to you as possible. Its not hard, not at all. DO NOT DO THIS AT ALL. YOU WILL COLLAPSE OR FAIL YOUR UNIT, MORON! I REPEAT DO NOT DO. I think I made my point.

  • US drill is different than Canadian.

  • Swivel Chair Patrol an auxiliary of the Chair Force hahahahahahahaa

  • I've always liked the American way of drilling. Ours is the same but we have to stomp the left (In some insances like left face the right) boot as well. Perfect for killing your foot lol

  • I'm thinking about joining

  • Im Joining the Civil Air Patrol soon.. i wonder how all this stuff is gonna be you know.

  • Btw 6 insens of the ground and when u hold ur hand like that make sure ur u don't see anyholes witch I saw but I guess good job and thanks for helping people

  • THANK YOU! this video will help me prepare for my police academy class

  • i used to be in the cap but i didnt like it

    im in the navy now

  • @parkerman16 Well they're completely different things. I was only in CAP because I was too young for the armed forces. I'm in the Marines now.

  • @CAPTutorialized same here lol except for the marines part

  • you look lesbian.

  • @SharpAirsoft you look fat... so incredibly fat.

  • Good job, bad audio

  • What if you sneeze in Attention face?

Cuuz right now i am sick and sneeze alot?

  • @FatimaaLizbeet depends on which squadron your in cause some are more lax than others but usually youll just get told off later and not in front of the group. they cant make you do physical excercises as a punishment because that would be hazing

  • @petercollins797 Oh really? If we goof off we get push-ups.

  • @FatimaaLizbeet My recruiters told me that sneezing is not allowed when at attention.

  • Will they teach you how to do this because I'm about to be like the only new recruit in my squadron and I don't want to be left out.

  • @LastXdeth Yes, they will teach you

  • @CAPTutorialized Will they teach you things before they make you do it and yell at you for messing up? I am joining soon and I don't want to get yelled at for messing up to often.

  • @XsniperPro1 It's perfectly fine to be inexperience at drill when you are just joining. They will teach you. I am an Airman First Class and I still suck at drill lol. There is suppose to be no hazing, but kids think it's cool by doing it. Don't take it personal.

  • @CAPTutorialized bro this is so cool i am a cadet 2nd lt.

  • @CAPTutorialized bro this is so cool i am a cadet 2nd lt. well of AFJROTC

  • @LastXdeth Have you joined yet?

  • @BIXELBOY100 I joined January last year.

  • good idea to put something like this up probably helps newer cadets a lot

  • Canadian drill is a lot different and we call it turns not faces

    about turn left/right turn

but i like your about turns more

during turns we bring our foot up 6 inches then bring it down creates a bang.

about turn we pivot as of right turn but turn 180* not 90* and bang our foot

    yours is cooler.

  • this kid would not make it as infantry

  • This video is very informative, I started C.A.P. last Saturday.

The video is great but I wished it had better audio :/

  • c.a.p rocks rotc sucks

  • @Mr713819 afjrotc is fun idk what you are talking about im in it now as a freshman im already at 3 airman

  • @Mr713819 im in highschool i now a sophmore

  • @chrislybreezy IM IN 7TH AND I PROMOTED SO IM NO 2 STRIPES AVOVE U

  • @Mr713819 im in highschool im now a sophmore

  • @Mr713819 jokes on you. yall are civilians

  • @Mr713819 Dude, ROTC rules

  • airman or nco

  • helped me so much for drillls! thankyouu

  • wow i never heard of asking for permission to adjust...

  • @unitylovefamily really well i guess you have amazing self control

  • @petercollins797 hahaha...

  • @unitylovefamily its not in AFM 36-2203, BUT many squadrons and rotc units use it just as a way to adjust in a military manner if you absolutely have to.

  • This was very helpful, thank you Airman.

  • gahh i fail at about face D:<

  • that is simply because you dont have to put that much effort into if t if you know what your doing!!!

  • MrMobbydick12- first off you look like your about 9 years old. and if americans suck and drill so bad lets see you come down here and try to show me up at drill cause ill smoke you. and he is showing the drill movements correctly so keep your mouth shut.

  • @ElkoCAP

MrMobbydick12 is actually right, although the kid on the video is doing the US drill movements right, it still looks shit because there is hardly any effort that goes into it. British drill looks much better, its harder to perform as well.

  • Are you from CTWG?

  • u american suck ass at drill

  • @MrMobbydick12 First off its called basic drill for a reason. Second if i catch you commenting on another one of these tutorials I will come up to your frozen tundra and shove a hockey stick up your ass.

  • @MrMobbydick12 and u suck dick..

  • I always thought that when performing an about face, your right leg should always be kept STRAIGHT on the "backswing". I might just be crazy though haha.

  • @nayojr5 Yeah its supposed to be kept Straight

  • I am a cadet in TN. What wing areyou in?

  • Retard..

  • I'm starting CAP next week to help my NROTC application I wish my city had MCJROTC but sadly we don't so CAP will have to do long as I learn how to follow commands, march, and start to learn proper obedience that's all that matters to me. Alot of people rag on groups like Sea Cadets, CAP, MCJROTC, AFJROTC, AJROTC, and NJROTC, some people do it to boost their ego but alot of us do it because we want to be officers and are looking to be career miltiary, we are the future, lets make something of it

  • omg what squadrem you in????????????? please answer cause it looks like you got my patch

  • Dude, I like the idea of what you're doing. Every fall, my squadron gets flooded with a bunch of brand new cadets who know nothing at all about the Civil Air Patrol. I think your videos might actually help solve that problem, and teach these guys a thing or two before they get into a squad.

I'm just curious, but you strike me as one of those guys who end up going into one of the academies. Are you interested in applying?

  • your boots need to be polished

  • I liked this video, seeing as I'm joining the Army I'll need to know. Thankyou :)

  • HOLY FUCKEN SHIT THOSE ARE SOME HUGE ASS EARS!!!!!!!1

  • What wing are you part of?

  • in the uk we do it ALOT diffrent, we dont step we actually turn..

  • I've watched your video enough times that I've lost count...thank you very much. ^_^

  • Hey could you do a video on how to Blouse BDU pants. That would be great!

  • i can't stand american drill its so messy

  • @XxXcoheedXxX i agree United Kingdom drill is alot sharper

  • @XxXcoheedXxX I see nothing messy about it. Please elaborate.
