  • i would say you shnt use different brand products as some brands know what should be used with their one product. They do lot of research in these things so they should know !! again using different brand mix and match isnt bad either but less effective.

  • 1:18 ...mistake...with the grain

  • You are the best instructor in the world, very very interesting way to teach or instruct and very helpful to me i'm really thankful to you

  • This guy is SOOOO STUPID! If you go against the hair you will get a ugly face like this guy! Just look at this guys face! He have a lot of ingrown hair, which is UGLY!

  • Just use soap as a shaving cream! It's the best! Never lets me down

  • @rafal48 whats the difference between shaving cream and soap when you shave

  • @Fenaticc its cheaper!

  • Another great upload. Very informative, thanks for sharing!

  • is it true to put alcohol after shaving, every time i go to the barber and they shave my face i breakout really really bad and my face starts to get all irritated and red. i was told its because i don't put alcohol is that true.

  • @kitsune62587 My skin gets irritable and red every time I put some alcohol on it! What you can do instead is to put some face cream instead!

  • Great upload!

  • If this guy runs some kind of Men's grooming place and this is what he calls a perfect shave, that is a sad indictment on the demise of barbers. If I'm paying for a shave, I want a shave better than what I can give myself, ie: a straight razor wielded by a skilled and experienced barber. Ignore this; purchase a safety razor and watch mantic59 and geofatboy's videos to learn how to use it, then after a few months consider moving on to straights.

  • @gzeuskraiste he has very useful tips! and knows what he's talking about.... maybe u need to WAKE UP!

  • @AngeloR674 granted, they might be useful to a person whose current shaving method is to squirt on half a can of Barbasol and then smash the flexing head of a six-blade plastic abomination of a razor into their face as if they were trying to scrape off a frying pan, but they will not give you anything near a "perfect shave", as he claims, and anyone who says they will has either never tried a double edge safety razor or a straight razor, or, never bothered to learn how to use them correctly.

  • @AngeloR674 watch what he does at 0:17 (and later points in the video) in the background. Nobody who knows how to shave properly will tell you that is a good idea. Anything that doesn't open a nice gushing cut when you do that is too blunt to shave with, and anything that blunt will give you razor burn and ingrowns.

  • @gzeuskraiste...... yeah i saw that. but keep in my mind.. he has shave oil on his beard.. that is what shave oil is designed to do.. keep a nice cushin to shave with... and KEEP YOU FROM CUTTING YOUR SELF.. if u neve shaved with shave oil.. u woudnt know that im talking about,,,,,, the man owns several high end barbershops in the d.c. area and knows his stuff!....... sorry for my tone in my previous message... take care!

  • @AngeloR674 I don't doubt the guy's successful. It's just not what I'd call "perfect", that's all. I don't shave with shave oil, though I understand its role in providing lubrication as well as lifting the hair to make cutting it easier and prevent friction. I use shaving soap (Proraso) for that. Thankyou, and you take care also :)

  • @gzeuskraiste if u watch and listen to everything he says on how to shave... wash your face etc etc... and what angle to shave with the razor.. u will be get a better shave... try shave oil..under the shave cream it is pretty cheap if u look around.. it will do wonders.. for avoiding cuts and getting a better smoother shave. if u only knew what he charges for a shave.. u would fall off your chair.. yeah that ridicoulous! $3500 to come to your home.. yes thirty five hundred!

  • Is it normal to have that beard mark? (The grayish color after you shave that's like tiny hair that's about to get long)

    You get my point.

    Please answer. Thanks:)

  • @MegaShibalba Yeah its normal, it all depends how thick your beard is, im 20 and i have quite a thick beard so when i shave i still have a shadow there, some dont though :)

  • @motley0crue12 Oh. Aight. Thanks man. Appreciate it:)

  • all this takes a lot of time, and I dont have it in the morning

  • "If you have a tendency to break out or bump up I advice you to go against the grain."

Shouldn't you be shaving WITH the grain if you break out or bump up?... #doh

  • i hate shaving its a pain!!!!

  • i am 19 and i am shaving once at 2 weeks . i hope this will remain the same for my life :D

  • can anyone tell me how he gets the grey shadow on his face

  • @iRONx94 The grey is natural. However, the shadow style is all in the angles. Keep a 90 degree angle, but adjust your face according to bone structure. If that makes sense?

  • @iRONx94 he has a pretty thick beard , most guys with dark hair have better( thicker and more coverage ) beards than blonds.plus his beard looks 2 grow fast so he gets that distinctive 5 o'clock shadow:))

  • @xtremixt1 In between my pimpled and dimpled poop flappers is a brown hairy puckerd winking stinking sea shell shaped stink hole that is smelly and rippled and has collected a little brown nutty pieve of every meal and drink i have pinched off in my life, including baby food. U sure u wanna sniff and lick??

  • hey man if I shave every 48 hours its ok, but if I shave every 36 hours my skin gets bumps, any tips?

  • @IronPump89 shave every 48 hours then!!!!!!!!

  • You have destriyed your face by shaving at the wrong direction

  • why not mark this guys videos as dangerous acts :P :) i just did

  • This guy is a fucking retard :) look at mantic59's videos this guy is just a joke :)

  • mehhhhhhhhhhh THIS IS WHAT I SAYYY EACH TO THERE OWNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN there i settled the problem lol

  • 1:15 - 1:31 wtf man

  • Am i the only one that is 14 years and have a beard? lol

  • @volkan9196 cool brag i had a beard when i was 7

  • lm 21..l started shaving @16..obviously l grew my mustache first and than chin hairs..l shave twice a week and after buying the mens grooming kit l believe this guy and highly enjoy shaving=)

  • can you make a vid about how to shave balls??

  • im 17 and i just started shaving maybe a few months ago (4 or 5 at the most) but i noticed that when i let my facial hair grow a little bit ,it grows thick on my chin but very scarce everywhere else, it is kinda patchy in the areas where the hair is thick. is this just because i cant grow a full beard yet or is it because i sometimes get small knicks when i shave?

  • @acorn9345678 Yeah same here, im 20 and i was like that, its because you're young... most men cant grow a 100% full beard until they're in their 40's. Obviously before then you'll get more hair on your cheeks, but its completely normal, chin and tache are the 1st places it grows dude

  • Been shaving for years never really bothered to shave against the grain I enjoy having the stubble the next day. You're a shaving wiz man thanks alot for sharing your knowledge with us it's much appreciated. :)

  • I want a Cocktail!

  • wtf he advices to go w the grane for both sensitive/unsensitive skin

  • @iluvmarijanne he meant "withthe grain" the first time for sensitive skin

  • @gabsylv ahhh...it all makes sense now...

  • i hate that stupid bitch at the end!!

  • i suddenly have an urge to shave using his tips

  • @esfandior True, me too. I was here in order to find some style for my full beard, but now I want a clean shave!

  • LOL In my last comment I forgot to mention these comments are coming from someone who has quite a shadow on his face. And there is such thing as going down because not everyones hair grows in the same direction genious. And how do you train your beard to do things. You know nothing about shaving

  • @goatkiller68 gud 1 to train the beard probably he sent them to school or someting :)

  • AT 1:18 must have been a mistake. do NOT go against the grain if you have sensitive skin or bump easy....

  • very informative. thank you.

  • i disagree with the first myth because you need that cussion to take off the hair gradually not all at once. You need to take multiple passes, that is with a safety razor or straight razor. Cartridge razors are stupid, Once you try a safety razor you will never look back

  • @goatkiller68 totally a fan of DE razor :)

  • @goatkiller68 why are cartridge razors stupid?

  • @14minusthebear its not that they are really stupid. i should have said that differently. basically it tears your skin apart when you shave because there are so many blades depending on what razor you are using. for me personally im not a fan of them anymore

  • @goatkiller68 I use a cartridge razor.I think? and disposable razors cause there the only ones I see at stores. I heard that saftey razors are harder to use

  • @14minusthebear the cartridge razor is the disposable's that you see in the stores. you can get used to a safety razor easily. it just takes a few times. i got fairly good after 5 uses

  • this guy is knowledgeable stop being jealous you all!!!

  • This man is a fucking idiot. Do NOT listen to a thing he says.

  • @MaestroMi78 u are

  • I have never shaved in my life. Always used the trimmer and just got a 'clean shave'. The question I have is how do you shave if your beard hair has grown.

So, I want to reduce the length of the beard hair. How do you do that? Do you use a clip in front of the razor? Or how does that work. Please advice because I have never shaved. Thx

  • @kami645464 well, i never had had a more grown beard than 3 weeks at a row, but i guess you can just use an electric trimmer to eliminate the outstanding hairs until you got near your skin and then use the oil to shave.

At least that´s how I´ld do it.

  • daaaa i cant wait till i can grow my stash i only get a couple of long hairs so i have to shave but cant grow anything : (

  • how do i train my beard to do my homework?

  • @AndrewRyanJD lmao

  • i would always shave right before i got n the shower, maybe now i wont do that lol

  • Nigga needs to use shaving cream

  • @raw207

He's not a Nigga. And the entire point of this is that it's better than shaving cream.

    You're a plonker!

  • @canaan1967 no shit captain obvious, and i'm not a plonker.

  • @raw207

So he doesn't need shaving cream now? Make up your mind.

  • @canaan1967 He can use whatever he likes, but from my experience shaving gel or cream gives you a more closer shave. Can't you see his shadow?

  • why is it that he doesn't get a close shave? it looks like he has a 5oclock shadow

  • I totally disagree with this guy shaving against grain is torture on your skin and causes a lot of bleeding for me. Going with the grain is much easier on your skin. This is an example of how you should just do what you feel is right for you.

  • @canaan1967

depends on how your skin is. mine is average, not too sensitive, not too rough, and i only go against, but with right soap an razor, i have no problems. use witch hazel after as it combats in grown hairs and is a good antiseptic astringent.

  • i think he meant to say "with the grain" in regards to people who break out easily.

  • the dude is right about that " shave-just-after-you've showered" , skin is much more looser.

  • @bitcheznhos more than likely but you might require special tools.

  • i have been using tweezers for that, but a razor might smooth out the ripples back there

  • @bitcheznhos

no shaving an asshole (if you woman likes tossing your salad that is and doesn't want mouth full of hair) then hold one cheek open, lather, and with other hand hold razor and shave from front to back. wait a second did i just mean to say that?

  • @TeslaDRay Well i would suggest spreading both pimpled and dimpled poop flaps open and lathering up that winker with some foam and using a new razor to cut away those pooh stained hairs then apply some lotion to sooth that rippler. the bleeding cuts will dry and heal and if you are careful hemmorhoids will not happen. this is a healthy pooper

  • @bitcheznhos

LOL, alright man, you beat my post, lol.

  • @TeslaDRay Open up those stink flaps and do away with each hair that has gathered brown stains from all the pushed out meals through the years and rinse off into our glorious water filtration system and forget about it. lotion up what remains and have fun ! ! !

  • @bitcheznhos

dude man, i don't wanna get off topic, but you're a riot, lol.

  • @TeslaDRay when you are done shaving and waxing that rippled puckered button poop pipe, bleach it and let it shine and walk around rubbing each pre determined ripple left to right adding to its look and shine. know that you have worth and command

  • @bitcheznhos

    lol.

  • @bitcheznhos get that ass waxed!

  • @epicalex91 It's what is in between my pimpled and dimpled stink shutters that needs waxed and lotion

  • @bitcheznhos No... :]

  • @bitcheznhos Is your butthole located in the face?

  • For the second tip I think you misspoke by accident: You said "You have a choice to go with the grain...if your skin is sensitive I advise you to go AGAINST the grain." I think you meant to say with the grain. :-)

  • I use a little baby oil on my face right after my shower, then shaving cream on top... my skin feels so smooth and the shave is incredible... try it.

  • Why does that Mach 3 blade have such a bulky handle?

  • its funny that a guy giving tips on a perfect shave doesnt have a very good shave from the looks of it. he has a pretty good shadow on his face.

ive been looking for good advise for years but no tips anyone give ever work. i have sensitive skin but shaving with the grain does NOTHING to my beard.

  • aahahahahahahhahhahhahahaxD i have the same problem an i think the same as you hes like a gray face man (: but he does shave well

  • I cant trust anyone that feels the need to use a mach 3 with a big fake handle just to make it look more fancy! Just use a regular one!

  • @sweet00976 That handle is not fake. It predates the Mach 3 by many, many years. The advantage of this handle is that it is much heavier than the standard Mach 3 razor and helps the shave go smoothly.

I dont think he's using it as a gimick, but because it works well and has traditionally been used by men. Old school gents think we are sissies for using the Mach 3! :)

  • @Xephon212 true but why not just use a double edge safety razor?

  • I've always been intimidated by those. I'm a little clumsy and even though they are safety razors I imagine my clumsy self dicing my face. I also have shakey hands. Do you think it would be good for me to try out?

  • @Xephon212 if you want tips there is a user on youtube mantic59 i believe..he has the best shaving videos ever....check out all his videos

  • Thanks for the excellent information. One of these days I will try my hand at wet shaving, those vids help. Thanks again.

  • @sweet00976

they are no good. trust me.

  • this guy = respect bro

  • why does everyone use foam if it is unnessecary?

  • because it makes it easier to shave. It's obviously not the best solution, though, if you're a shaving pro like this guy :P

  • but this guy said that it was not easier at all, that's the myth apparently.

  • He's an shaving elitist lol. Shaving foam obviously helps. If you shave, you probably know the difference between using foam and not.

  • well i have only shaved once and that was with a ton of foam but i didn't realize if it was unnessecary or not.

  • When you get a lot of facial hair, a razor will rip your hair instead of cutting it, and it's really painful. Foam prevents this, although I can't really explain how.

  • I'm confused - people with sensitive skin should shave against the grain? 10 seconds later he recommends people witch thick beards and rough skin to shave a g a i n s t the hairgrowth?????

  • when shave up or against the grain u don't have to keep redoing that area, sensitive skin gets irrated by constantly being stroked, or having dead things like dead hair on it.

  • i think that was a mistake he made. no one caught it.

  • What he says about Soap is completely wrong in all due respect. Take my word on this, once you use soap, you'll never go back. However, use an Olive Oil soap that contains no chemicals or perfumes. Just straight Oilve Oil. Trust me boyz, it works a charm.

  • how do you get rid of the fine thing hair next to your sideburns very few guys have it, its basically at your high cheek bone level?

  • nice tips!.......

  • Why the hell no one watching this

  • cuz youtube is filled with 12 yr olds with no beards =P
