  • 19,722 Views! Congratulations! I hope that they come up in the same spot this year.

  • LOL @ Faygo

  • Hard to believe 21 days ? i found them that big 3 days after searching the whole area and nothing , then wala.......but morels are funny growing things

  • this is like a bigfoot sighting

  • The drummer for my old band had morels that grew in his driveway and around his garage every season. He hated mushrooms, but I don't :) Asshole moved....

  • @TalulahsDaddy i have also found several around my tree and driveway, but I saw it as the bad sign that it was \. Because usually morels love growing around dead and dying elm trees. Well 3 yrs later the tpo of the huge (70' plus) elm in my front yard is now dying with the top third being totally lifeless except for shelf mushrooms, now the tree is in danger of falling on my house and cost 1300 to remove (so maybe your friend made a good move), but the morels were great :)

  • 2:08 alright, time to trip

  • @dylananenberg imbecile

  • @cholomono12 I think you'd be able to spell biologist if you were one. Quit lying.

  • i believe that they pop over night but night out of the ground. we walked up 2 at about 6pm here in iowa and they were tiny and laying on their sides, we came back the next morning when it was 8am and about 65 degrees and they were standing straight up, nayeb thats what ppl mean by they pop up cause ive seen a timelap on marels in a man-made setting and never seen them come up out of the ground over night

  • @hawkdlb06 i found a ton of grey's here in southwestern Iowa

  • nice job.....it would be nice to keep the camera in the same spot, for a true perspective.

  • Awesome video beyond reason good job!

  • Lol, Faygo can, guess we know what state this is in. Great video man, I have a large patch that grows in my back yard I collect every year, but I was away last year and the family picked them...praying they didn't get greedy and destroy the root system.

  • sorry at 0:38

  • It is dandelion.

  • Does anyone know what plant growing next to the morels is? With the arrow shape leaves. I think its part of the lettuce family.

  • they look like little brains!

  • Wow! Very patient! =)

  • beautiful! you must be very patient ;p

  • They do pop up over night. Then they grow for about 21 days!

  • You can't hide from me !!!Ha ha ha! And people think they pop up over night. 5*****

  • I still think they pop up over night lol..

  • @grifola they do iv hunted them for 20 years ill go out one day and pick all of them under a tree and they are right back there the next day and its actuly estamated that of the few comon species of morels we know there are probly alot more species that just look similar (mycologysts are always changeing the names, classification, species, of shrooms), mebe some species take longer and also mebe climate and other factors could come into play? the greys take a while but the big yellows pop up
