I am a huge fan of Dean Martin and Don Rickles, he's a genius! Even today, he never fails to be ready with a snappy comeback. I purchased the entire Dean Martin Roast collection on DVD. I would love to share it with everyone who cares to watch it but due to copyright infringement laws, and also being fairly 'new' to youtube, I don't know how or if I can download it to my channel/profile, if anyone out there, and I'm sure there are many, please mail me instructions on how to go about it. Yeah but Don didn't exactly do the Italians any favor either. Ali asked Don if he'd talk that way around Italians and Don said no way, he'd tap dance around them instead - obviously implying that all Italians are gangsters or cutthroats. It was Don's gig to insult people. Ali should have known that. All of the black entertainers who were ever insulted by Don, took it very well and were good sports. I'm not saying that Don didn't take it too far, only that it was his brand of humor.

I am a proud black man, who had the pleasure of meeting Don Rickles. The man doesnt have a racist or hateful bone in his body.

His one goal in life was just too make people laugh.

In the same manor of say Redd Foxx.......Redd has some pretty harsh jokes about white people...but anyone offended by that just didnt get it.

Funny thing is, Redd & Don were good friends.

Same jokes Rickles told about Obama he had about a JFK or Reagan.
