I agree with most of what you say...but there have been plenty of times when people have done the job (in non-title matches admittedly) to 'local boys' below their card position. Triple H has laid down for Jerry Lawler over and over in Memphis...it's about respect. PCO and Nash clearly had none for each other.
Always the Ego...I dont like vince, but it must be a pain in the ass,to work with wrestlers...especially when they are famous.Nash come on give others a chance to....grandpa wrestling isn't fun.
1.PCO lied when he said he was told he was getting the title. He was a midcard jobber, no way would he even have gotten a dq win over Diesel. He never even got a televised IC title shot......
2. Nash was the company's biggest star at the time, and the World champion, he shouldn't be losing to anyone on house shows, local boy or not.
And for those of you who think I'm biased, I'm french Canadian and from Montreal.
brett wasnt a bitch brett did what brett was told vince changed the fuckin plans during the match as he was pissed that he was gonna lose one of the biggest people wwf ever had read up on it dude even vince and shawn admit screwing him when they shouldnt
Vince and Shawn have admitted to no such thing! They admit that they screwed him, yes. But they still maintain that they felt like they had to screw him. Bret wanted to keep the strap in a double DQ in Montreal & said he would hand it to Vince on Raw the next night. A) you don't get to go out a champ and just hand the belt over when u r leavin for the competition and B) they were scared Bischoff would talk Bret into pullin another Alundra Blaze but this time with a belt that means something
@untuchable0417 Bret had never screwed Vince over before and helped lead the company after the Hogan era. So why would he screw him over now? Plus its a well known fact that the Kliq held alot of wrestlers down. Thats why when Hall left for a brief skint in ECW he boys threw him out the locker room and told him to f off cause he had wrecked so many careers!
well, brett left for wcw, and he rufesed to lose to shawn, so what should they do, let him leave as champion? like mike awesome did, they had to screw him over, its brett's own fault
Nash is showing his true colours by wanting to get "revenge." Sometimes we all land slightly off, it's part of the business. But I can relate though--if you are main eventing in your hometown, would you want to be jobbed out?
