Outside of the original Shirley Bassey this is the best recording of this song.Who ever thinks Haley does a better job need to get their ears checked.The night that Jordin sang this song Simon commented that he thought Jordin should have something more modern.He was wrong.

i just watched the haley version of this song and i must say it looks like haley gave her all on this song while jordin held back and u could still tell that jordin was 10x better..just imagine if jordin went full out no chances on this song like haley, there's no comparison especially since they have completely different voice types, there both amazing singers but i feel like jordin can keep a steady tone while haley has that squeakyness to her voice if she gets too high. my vote on this one ;x

If you "just watched the Haley version" you didn't see Haley get ripped once again compared to the other contestants and having Randy repeat his criticism in a shout over the praise of Steven. Only then to suffer the additional indignity of having them call the four contestants out to have Randy declare the first round a tie for first among the other three contestants minutes before Haley was to perform this song. After weeks of biased judging, she delivered once again.

At the time you made your comment. Haley had a holiday duet with Casey Abrams that reached the Top 5 on iTunes. As for her single, she announced the other day it would be released March 1st. Not that it was unexpected considering she was signed to Interscope. But thanks for asking.

the reason everyone is battling on who sang it better is clearly within the vocals. Jordin has a much more pure and crisp voice while haley has a raw and real voice. Jordin has the capacity to riff and run and hold notes with her voice while haley can bring the power and the message behind it. its hard to say who did better.
