I am seliing a compaq nc6400 with windows 7 ultimate - 80gb hard drive - microsoft 2007 office - 1gb ram - this is a very good traveling computer becuase of its frame and light wieght also, i recommend this computer for any traveler or some one entering a high school / college thats need a strong reliable computer -
We have not had a chance to check out the CQ50 as of yet, but from what I know it uses SATA drives. I suggest taking a look at your original drive first to verify it's SATA. If yes, you should be able to replace it with a 500GB HD.
Why cannot you simply reuse the caddy of the old hard-drive? I always do that.

Hey thats just cool! I am going to replace my 160GB SATA drive with a 500GB SATA drive in 3days! This surely helps to not mess it up.
Cheers for the info!
