  • I adore my bike (smirk), my Suzie

  • I love my red one!!

  • where did ya get the tail lights at?

  • postal service!!!

  • The red SV looks beautiful! Could you tell me where I could order the front & side fairings and belly pan but in a black color?

  • you have an HD version of this vid? that would be badass

  • killer bikes. sv's are for riders, not wanna-be's. only ridden one once ( the 650 anyways ), but it was one of the best trach rides i've ever been on. nothing fancy, just proper set up, pipe, the usual. but man, it egged me on. killer ride, awesome sound. i have an sd990. i love it. sv's are too cool though.

  • i'm debating between the ninja 650r and the sv650, i like the leaning forward of the sv cause i sat on one... i never sat on the ninja 650r. BUT which bike is more user-friendly considering it will be my first bike? In terms of looks i love the sv look but the ninja is also good looking as well so it's kinda hard to decide. Performance is not an issue both are the same cc's and i probably wont have the skills or talent to bring these bikes to their maximum potential anyways!! Thanks in advance

  • @plehdehgame Hey, I own a SV and my opinion might be a bit biased. Believe it or not, with the 2 bikes performance does differ quite a bit, with the 650r lagging behind. overal i'd say 650r is easier to start on, with lwoer seat height, less power...etc but , if you are willing to take your time and take a chance, go with the sv650. Im 5'6 138lbs male, athletic build and it was my first bike; i love it to death! also, 650r sounds like a cat breathing in and out while sv sounds has a deep grumble

  • @plehdehgame You can always change the handlebars, To the type that suite your needs on the Ninja 650r..Hope that help's make your choice. Take care, yl

  • I just got a 02 sv650 and this is great motivation for me!!

  • ima make one better lol

  • is this a good bike to start on? regardless of size? I heard any bike is good ranging from 250-650cc and i was also advised to stay away from inline-4 bikes and stick to v-twins. meaning this would be a good choice. But i just got into the motorcycle world i was wondering if anyone can tell me the bikes that are good for starters...I'm into sportbikes with fairings and must be able to take highway speeds without struggle. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  • Only time the oil starvation thing is an issue is if someone is a tool and constantly does long wheelies.... run some synth and keep wheelies for no more than a second or two and you're fine

  • Keep wheelies to a few seconds at most and you wont have to worry

really if you want wheelies get a penis bike like a kawasaki ninja or something.

The SV also sound waay better with a decent exhaust system like the M4 the stocker ones suck anus!

All in all the SV is one of the best all around bikes... it does everything OK... sure other bikes are better at some things. but the SV is good and also cheap on insurance and I can still do over 200kph on it. There is nothing like the v-twin sound

  • gotta love that roll focus...what glass?

  • very good quality video for sure!

  • Sweet video..

    Shot in southern Alberta?

  • @SpecOps1987

    yeah dude, you ride too?

  • @drummerkid69 Yeah. I've just got a Ninja 250 for now. The SV650 has really been intriguing lately though. I found one at a dealership, but it got scooped up quickly.

  • @SpecOps1987

shitty dude, there will always be sv's around man people love em. I ride an 06 zx 6r now. where u from?

  • @drummerkid69 I'm from Edmonton. Do you like the ZX6R better?

  • @SpecOps1987

yes sir quite a bit better.

  • that was the best SV650 video until that foul music came on

  • Vid is nice...song...not so much.

  • Best SV vid!!!

  • This is not the best SV 650 video!

    Nice but not the best!

    I have a SV 650s K5

  • @MotorcycleSportBikes me too ! yellow, 65K miles(all mine). upgrades, Bridgestone battleaxe(were on sale), organic brakes, Microlon, frame sliders, auto chain oiler, bike alarm, and a biker bell attatched to the throttle body so it jingles when I turn on the kill switch. still runs sexy.

  • You left a K7 in the middle of the road? Nice! :P

  • Awesome video man!!!

  • sweet vid

  • Great vid, wish I could turn off the music though.

  • The quality of the video is very nice, but the bike you selected for your video is very girlie-feminine. A man would never ride such a whimpy bike, unless of course he is a homosexual.

  • @Tophairybutt

    me ( the red sv rider ) now rides a 05 zx6r

brother ( blue sv ) now rides an 07 r6

  • @Tophairybutt

peculier remark, with a nickname like that !

  • Great video, just recently bought an SV650s, think they are an amazing bike (is my first), hope to be as good a rider as you two on day!

  • good job mate !

  • lol my friend has felix the cat on his tank guard

  • Really nice ! Good job !!!

  • I miss my little SV, i had a 2006 one in red with no lower fairing, it was the perfect road bike, you could drag your knee when you wanted or you could casually tour, it just did everything. I have a 09 GSXR600 now but i regret ever selling the SV .. great bike.

  • Just picked one of these babies up today!! badass vid

  • Nice vid but the music gave me a headache

  • Great vid! Please tell me which is the song in the 1st part of the vid? 10x

  • @joroBGsf...Song Name ist: The Postal Service - Recycled Air

  • SV 4 LIFE (L)

  • That was very good.

  • have an sv650s k6 with a yoshimura can sweet boom!! love it

  • Excellent! I got different equipment (650R + Canon SX20 IS) but it's ALL GOOD brother....

    -The KingCaster

PS: I sold Suzukis for a while, the SV's are great machines, just saw a silver 1000 yesterday with slip ons.... wonderful bike.

  • damn some of these shots should be on the suzuki website!

  • Nice Video!!!

    I have a SV 650s from 2005! Yeahhh........

  • I got an 03 silver SV650S...This video just convinced me to get the lower fairing for my bike...thanks for the support. BTW nice Vid

  • Just saw a nice forum thread about an SV folding a con rod over due to a piston sieze while a guy was holding a wheelie.. it ain't a myth.

  • 1) What lens did you use?

    and

    2) Why isn't this video in 720p????

    and

    3) Awesome video nonetheless

  • dont wheely SV650, the oil canals get dry when doing wheelys. Believe me, i've had a engine failure (2 broken pistons) because of it.

  • @NielsMF

cha bra. ive heard all about that, but she never blew on me. and its sold now so i dont gota worrie about that anymore.

my wheelies are lookin way better on my new R6 ;)

  • @photokid69 SV sounds better. The R6 is a good bike but sounds like small drill :)

  • @NielsMF

I just picked up an 2006 sv650n without knowing that wheelying the thing could create serious malfunctions. Is there a way to make sure the canals wont dry?

  • @DefineDiseased

I've read that you can buy some kinda pump that keeps everything lubed. Maybe someone else could shed more light on this??

  • @photokid69

i've not seen a mod such as that for sale, but from what I know, all pre 2003 (including '03) SV suffer from oil starvation in front cylinder when wheeling. I had my first SV break because of that. All official '04 SV have been fitted with an internal engine plate to keep oil in the from cylinder for this reason. I would still be careful about doing wheelies, and check oil all the time! SV are notorious for eating oil!

  • @photokid69 I'm considering a SV650, so I was wondering if I should be really worried about this issue as long as it wasn't used as a stunt bike at all? I mean will a few wheelies by the previous owner here and there be okay to still purchase one?

  • @mr94silverado Wouldn`t worry about it too much. This only affected early bikes because tjhe oil pickup was at the front of the engine. The later bikes had the oil pickup moved to the back.

I`ve owned an sv650 for 11 years and it`s a great bike.I love it and it`s running as well as the day i bought it.Go buy one!

  • @DefineDiseased I've heard that you can put 1liter oil extra, but not sure.Let me know if you know the answer already.I am looking to buy a SV 650

  • @DefineDiseased Don't wheely :P

  • @DefineDiseased yes, dont wheelie

  • @DefineDiseased Pulling wheelies now and then won't hurt it, it's riding them for long distances that you have to worry about.

  • @DefineDiseased dont do wheelies

  • @pc1614

you can't get a bike and not do wheelies...Ended up getting an f4i 2001

  • @NielsMF ging je echt lange wheely's maken dan ? of gewoon af en toe op het achterwiel trekken ? ik doe het ook wel eens kijk maar naar me filmpjes

  • @NielsMF does that happen on all models?

  • @NielsMF

Does that mean the effect is the same when going up a hill?

  • @NielsMF

    By doing long wheelies?

  • @NielsMF is it acceptable to do short wheelies?

  • @NielsMF that problem was only with old models i think?

  • @zelatur certainly not, the engine is exact the same as the ''old'' models, the only difference is the injection system instead of good ol' carbs.

    So, don't wheely a SV650 ;)

  • @NielsMF what about "Oil cooler" or something like that :)

  • @zelatur yeah, what about it? an oil cooler has nothing to do with the oil pump and the lubrication. If the oil pump channels run dry, the pumping stops and so does the lubrication.

Other bikes have different located oil pumps so there's always lubrication.

  • @NielsMF it's oil not grease, don't worry, it won't dry.

  • Nice! Super quality, beautiful weather, nice scenery and some nice ideas. I like more videos where there's more riding a going through corners, than just playing around on a one mile straight, but good work!

  • @Nonicknameleftforme thanx man. I woulda loved to had some corners in there, but we got nooo twisties in our area (exept for all the 90 degree turns on every street corner in town lol.. but no sweet twisties)

im all about the turns man. im workin on a new vid right now on my R6. might have some track riding in it =D

  • @photokid69 wish i had some straight roads! almost everything is twisty here :) (uk)

  • Great video.

  • Nice! A fellow sv rider AND pentax user- hell ya! I shoot w/ a k10- i didnt know the k7 shoots vid. My mentor sold me the k10 and shoots with a k7 now. nice!

  • haha, nice man. K10's my back up body. you should buy the k7, be a man! doo the riight thing!

  • Another SV rider with a K10D. Perhaps we're seeing a patern here, punching way above it's weight and both fun to use?

  • great video like the way you put it together cant wait till spring gets here love my sv!!!!!!!!

  • I like the video is awesome congratulation

  • about two weeks ago i rode down to airdrie when it was like + 8 C outside haha

  • Yah I made it out a couple days, I would have rode every day during that chinook, but I had to do a carb clean before I could fire up the old steed. I also got out for a short rip a couple days ago.

  • Nice bikes, i've an SV650S K8 and love it to bits!

  • Finally! A good quality video of bikes with taste, well done dude.

I might just get one now...

  • If I could get my bro to get one...

  • How do you like the K7 for video? What lens did you use?

  • i love it. used all kinds a lenses.. ummm

    50-135/2.8 in the beginning there,

    think maybe the 18-50/2.8

and a lota the stuff with the 10-20

  • The performance were nothing especial but the editing and video quality is fuckin Epic bro. NICE VID! It's been favorited.

  • dude...like a lot more falcon. i'ma hungry for your poop!

  • haha whoooo //googling it right now

  • Hey guys, the video looks nice. I want to buy a new official SV from the Suzuki dealer, but i heard they dont make them anymore....such a damn shame..!

I wanted a SV650N black, i dont want that ugly Gladius...come on, it looks like a pussy bike. No offense.

  • gladius was such a shit "upgrade" from the 650n... it would probably have the same riding feel as the curent SV.. but its such a gay lookin bike.

  • Yea dude... I got the red one. Check out my vids (thought they suck butt). But I would love to switch every once in a while if you know what I mean.

  • my other bro's got the gsx650F.. its an allright bike but i would still pick mine over his.

my dads got the concours 14 and i take that on for a rip ever now n then... and my mom has a 250 ninja.. so theres enough bikes to "switch every once in a while"

  • SV is cool and all. I own one but whyd you both get the same bike?

  • if you own one, youd know what a great bike it is and how much fun to ride. Why should only one of us be able allowed to enjoy the 650

And this way he has no excuse when i kick his ass in the twisties =) were on evenly matched machines.

  • haha fun video. on on svrider but i have a bunch of SV videos up too
