Love your aviary! I love mine! I like to share birds and aviaries and started a group on FB. Parrots, cockatoos, birds and aviaries. I am sharing yours there today! Please come join!
Hey Jessica, you can purchase the Gazebo at Walmart or Costco. Unfortunately Costco has updated their Gazebo to Full aluminum top in stead of Fabric. The price run's about $300 to $500 now. As for the bars, Carol has yet to answer that question. Hopefully he will respond when he is not busy.
i was wondering, what do you mean by bird safe wire? can they only have certain kinds? I am wanting to build one just like this, juts gorgeous.. great job! :)
I have 8 different species, from Macaw, greys, senegals to pionus,Do you thing they can share my huge aviary I just build?Where and how do you place the food bowls?
HI, Love your birds and your aviary. I just purchased a gazebo that looks very much like yours. How did you make the wire. You did such a great job, I would like mine to look nice. Is it on concrete or build on soil? I have three Ringnecks and want to give them a good quality of life. Two (4 yr old, bonded fs) lived in i cage, never out of it. Other (male) 1 yr, from flight with 100 others. Had them only 1 week. Avise greatly appreicated. Alice
Where did you buy the wire for your avaiaries? I'm in Ontario too,and am building a large outdoor aviary in the spring. And can't seem to find any bird safe wire..
How wonderful for your birds. Curious-what state are you in? I am in Indiana. Just wanted to know to see how much use you will get out of your room. Was is real expensive? I would be willing to move just so I could add one. Bless you for giving this to your birds.
I'm actually in Ontario, Canada so we get about 4 months of use with it. May to Sept and if we get some warm days in April and Oct we take advantage.
The wire was the most expensive part of the whole thing. You have to be careful to buy bird safe wire. Total it was about 500.00 but I still want my 3 season room ;)
@carolh I live in Ontario too! Where did you buy the cage material for your birds? I've been meaning to build an indoor aviary for my 3 little ones and I can't seem to find any place that sells stuff like this, or rather how to really put one together! Your input would be fantastic!
Great aviary

Could you please tell me more about the frame. Was it square pipe? Did you have to weld it together? Also, how did you attach the wire? Thanks.

Nice aviary! If you don't mind my saying so, if you could have slowed down the time between photos, would have been easier to watch.
Thanks for sharing...

I only take out 2 at a time. Sometimes 3 and mostly if they have lots of room they will give the other birds their space.
If you have more than one play stand I think you should be okay but try 2 at a time first to see.
I have food dishes that have the metal thing on the back for hanging.
I only get to use mine when it's warm and the first sign of a mosquito I take them inside. I'm also out there with them the entire time.

the frame is one of those gazebos and then the expense came from all the wire and support bars. but it was so worth it. It's now my favorite room. ;)
