Nice technique, I tried to catch some tonight! Was my first time and i catch 4. Ive seen a lot but they are very sensible to vibration. I was moving very slow as I was closing in, but ive manage to scare a lot of them away. Ive broken 2 in half....
Im sure with time ill get better at this, and I will definably try to master your technique.
