they should make special trucks for areas that are snowy, why'd they make the wheels so damn small? why not put tank tracks on it? LOL that would be awesome
Sorry, but I'm a driver. I don't think there's any expectation that a citizen should come and help. Package cars are provided with chains. And if you did a proper pre-trip, you should have confirmed your chains. Get out and put them on.
You don't know the half of it!!! I'm a UPS driver in Md and I got stuck in the last storm we had. It took me an hour to get out. If we get so stuck that it's necessary to have the truck towed, we get charged with an accident!!!

Ive been doing delivery jobs since i started working at 16 so i'm pretty sure I know how much this sux... I live in western NY and we get snow... I work at UPS for preload have been for 3 yrs and I have driven for 2 peaks now....
@cdups24 Its bad enough even with a driver helper the truck could be out there until 10 PM during that season. Them the next day builds up with the day before.
Haha, a very good point, my friend. At least he was getting paid. I missed out on 10 hours of pay that day because of the snow! Sad part is, I work for a hotel so you think I would have been given a room the night before since we knew the storm was coming, but that didn't happen.
