  • And this is why zakk is one of my favorite guitarists

  • What an amazing tune!

  • one...last...time....

  • The idiots that say metal is only noise can suck zakk wylde's dick with this awesome solo :)

  • So tell me guys... What is a better guitar? Gibson or Epiphone?

I heard so many opinions I don't even know which one I want to buy.

Before my own guitar broke I had a Gibson, but I heard a lot of good positive recommendations about the epiphone guitars.. So some people got some tips what makes the hammer hit the nail for me?

  • @bladecrusher01 Well, almost everything wise, in my opinion, Gibson's sound much better. And it'll definitely last you a life time whereas the Epiphones, not so much. For their price, I'll say that they sound pretty neat. Just change the guts out and you'll get a pretty nice sounding guitar, though the total value of the guitar will go down substantially. Basically, you get what you paid for. As time goes, Gibson will get valued more

  • @MultiFluffymuffins Alright, yeah like I said I got a gibson before. So... I will stick to those :D

  • i dont know if this proves hes not human and is a robot or that hes to human to possibly be anything like a robot

  • @MrTjgale Totally agree on this

  • f****** nice

  • I'm crying

  • @cucharipala

    EMG HZ4

  • what pickups are this?¿ emg 81/85 or emg hz? thx great solo great guitarrits jeje

  • @MrTjgale I own a Gibson. I've owned a Gibson. Epiphone doesn't compare to it. Sorry.

  • @lihill91

I own an Epiphone LP slash(velvet revolver logo) and changed everything on it.

Ive seen Gibsons fail near my korean epi..

The others...really not much of a differance, you need to check them on a 60 y0 fender amp to see IF theres any diff with mine. But ive picked mine through many guitars..

As for this guitar...Someone who plays with EMG's and full gain..dont need a great quality guitar, just good good electronics..

A jazz player or a blues player needs a good quality guitar..

  • @NickoLps Youre epi is good because you changed everything on it haha. For all I know it is a gibson with an epi headstock. That's not a good argument. And the style of music someone plays doesn't dictate the caliber of guitar someone "needs." I understand that some epis are going to be of good quality but that's because you a high price for them. It doesn't matter who you are a $500 epi will not compare to a $2000 gibson. It's as simple as have a plastic nut versus a bone nut (continued)

  • @lihill91 It can compare when you dont look the headstock name on it ;)

After all i make my guitars i know about wood grades and what makes a good or bad instrument..I have plenty of woods in master grades and a gibson that costs 5000 or 6000 euro in Greece...for me it doesnt deserve even the half of the price they demand.

Gibson's are the most overrated guitars available on the market right now, epiphones are cheap and good

PS My slash epi cost was 940€ in 1999 (320k drx)

  • @NickoLps $2000 for an electric guitar from an esteemed brand isn't pricey at all. An epi thats $600 with emg's doesn't sound too pleasing to me. Knock off $200 for the pickups themselves (most likely they are 81/85's which is what my Gibson has in it) and it's a cheap $400 guitar with subpar craftsmanship. And if you have a $7000 Gibson you'll be paying for fine details. Engraved tuning heads, headstock, etc. basically all the works on it.

  • @lihill91

When guitar players "play" in bars under the influence of beer or..whatever,the least they care about is the engraved tuning heads..

What you wanna pay 7k$ gibson, can make 500 pieces in a single day with all the factories and all the robotic machines they got.

When you will meet with a real guitar and you will plug a gibson and the real guitar to the same amp, same time i bet you will remember me.

Cant save the world...they make them cause they always find fools to sell them.

  • @NickoLps Your grammar is making hard to understand what you're trying to say.

  • @lihill91 Get lost idiot...

  • @NickoLps Lol good one...read what you typed. It makes no sense.

  • @lihill91 I think he meant plug in a Gibson and an Epi in the same amp during a busy night at a gig and see if it really matters which guitar you have at that point.

  • @Whyrendog When someone is incoherent, I'm sure te last thing on their mind is what guitar they're playing. That was a stupid comment.

  • @NickoLps I wouldn't pay that much for a guitar unless I had the money to throw around lol. I'm not trying to knock Epi I'm just trying to say that you can't knock Gibson for what they are and what they've done. I don't want to knock a fellow guitaris either. Ther are so few of us left out there who are true guitarists and truly have a passion for them and take pride in playing them.

  • @NickoLps or the grade of maple and/or mahogany used on the guitar. And putting the guitar through an amp speaker doesn't always project the guitars true sound. Try seeing what it sounds like on tape. It's all a simple matter of the difference in craftsmanship.

  • It's so amazing !

    Please check mine out :)

    /watch?v=PPKoAdW5ops&feature=relmfu

  • I want this guitar

  • Anyone knows what effect pedal he used? :)

  • @joachimekstrom im pretty sure he uses a cry baby :)

  • @scotty2toti Okay, thanks! :)

  • Gibson is not a big enough upgrade from an epiphone for the heavy price tag difference (my opinion)

  • @moneyrocks123 I agree!

  • ............il play like one day!

  • Fuckig cool man ! Zakk Wylde ruls !!

  • theres not THAAAT big of a difference between an Epiphone and a Gibson..i have this Epiphone..I actually chose it over the Gibson one.. cuz the only difference really noticable was THE PRICE... and yehhh that unpainted neck makes a shit load difference its great

  • @BlckLblBUCKETSTRINGS That right there is bullshit sir.

  • @lihill91 eh yeh maybe... but i what i mean is i didnt see a big enough difference for that big of a price difference

  • @BlckLblBUCKETSTRINGS There really is though man. Yeah the gibson is pricey, but when you play it, there really is a difference.

  • in this video he is using a epiphone this show that you don t need a gibson but a decent amp witch decent hand

  • @jack91xxxx but a gibson can help xD

  • Amazing Vid I must say so myself... lol

  • ive never owned this guitar, but i played a friends today. it has an AMAZING feel with a neck thats easy to maneuver around and an absolutely epic tone. i wish i could afford one soooo bad

  • anybody who thinks this isn't an Epiphone is an idiot. And this is such a beat up debate anyway.

    ....just look at the headstock.

  • he even makes the epiphone scream

  • though its just an epiphone, its nice, UNPAINTED NECK, which rocked

  • you morons zakk doesnt play an epiphone. he plays a Gibson LP. these epiphones are modeled after his gibsons

  • @Infectiousthought yeah but the one he plays in this video is an epiphone... you can see at it's head

  • the sound is just awesome .. and if zakk plays epiphone ill start playing it :DDDDD haha too bad epiphone zakk wylde signatures are not in Thomann anymore -.- .. im not gonna buy Gibson .. its 2700euros more >.>

  • but this was an epiphone

  • is this guitar good for metal?

  • it is MADE for metal :D

  • @Greennine i think it is made for everything because i've seen people playing blues with this guitar. it is an awesome guitar.

  • @Greennine Serves brilliantly for hard rock as well.

  • wtf ? is the guitar sound good ? yeah even its zack who play it or if its a epiphone

    just listen to the sound

  • bullshit just cause zack played this guitar it means it is better than a gibson of course it isnt

  • Zakk Wylde are using his epiphone zakk wylde les paul custom bullseye in this amazing song farewell ballad. His vibrato and bending is just awesome

  • why do you think that one is Epiphone ?

May be it is,maybe it was played by zakk...so, it' becomes amazing

  • @whitehair024 It's epiphone because of the headstock. Open your eyes. Either that or read up on your guitars...

  • This is truly an amazing display of what Zakk Wylde is. Truly defines him as a genius-fucking-writer. Nuff Said'
