  • so which is it Mr. Sensenbrenner?? are they both bills of attainder? or are they not?

either way, by the way you described "bills of attainders", it doesn't seem like you fully understand what a bill of attainder really is..

it's not simply a law that takes away funds from a specific person or group...

it's a little more than that.. and Rep. Grayson is right in saying it is a bill of a attainder..

  • Yup. Grayson got owned there.

  • Well, Sesenbrenner did a did a good job on pushing back, although he wouldn't of had to do it if Broun hadn't blown it in the first place. It still took both of them to square up to one guy.

  • The problem with this whole debate is even if you do or don't believe in the whole Acorn shit storm, they just shouldn't get tax dollars to do what they are meant to do... drive up voter registration in minority groups, that should either be done on a 100% charity basis or the Federal Government should do it themselves to maintain accountability.... it's outsourcing, isn't it? Democrats should be against that.

  • Sensenbrenner wears diapers.

  • Rep. Sensenbrenner, you cannot logically argue that both the "AIG Tax" bill and the "ACORN Fund Denial" bill were both "bills of attainder" @ 1:50 and then a few minutes later argue that the "ACORN Fund Denial" bill is not a "bill of attainder" @ 3:30.

  • Quite right.

  • Rock on Mr. Chairman!!

  • Keep up the good work!
