I recently (2011) went to a DK show --the "backing musicians" with a different singer-- and had a great time. Afterwards, I met them all and told them I always thought they were fantastic musicians and I was thrilled to get to see them play. I love the DK records for the surreal political lyrics, but that is only part of the pie --HOWEVER YOU SLICE IT THIS IS A GREAT AMERICAN ROCK BAND!!!!

On further reflection, I think half of the video is brilliant and apt, and the rest is slightly gratuitous point making (preaching to the converted) - which I happen to agree with - but which is not relevant to the song. The purpose of these types of videos is to illustrate the song, to emphasise it and/or add humour. The percentage of preppies who work for defense contractors and/or are S&B members is miniscule. Please don't encourage the DK fans' blurred thinking any more than it is already!
