Enormnu ulogu u madjarizaciji slavena ima Vatikan koji je preko svojih biskupa i kardinala u XVI,XVII, XVIII i XIX stoljeću zabranjivao racki jezik u prvom redu. @TheHiurashi I am right becuase at that time the foreigners differenciate between the Slavic nations. Czechs we called Bohemians, and the Germans used them against Moravians. Great Moravia was called differently - it was the Slovenskaja zemlja, just like today is Slovenska republika, meaning Slovakia. Great Moravia was called Sclavonia.

Croatia is of course not contemporary Croatia, but original homeland shared by Czechs and (probably) White Croats. There is no mention about Pannonia. Also veneti or vendi as germans use to call them were slavs as well people from Iliria(Dalmatia), Trachia&Daccia. From Herodoth 5000 b.c. all those tribes speak same language and they call themselves serbs or sorbs or sebri which in their language means brothers. From IV century a.d. name used for those tribes is SLAVS. The first mention of Slovenia is after 1848 a.d. before that CROATIA.

It´s bullshit what author says, West slavs: Upper and Lower Lusetanian Serbs, Kashubs, Poles, Czechs, Slovaks. South Slavs: Sloveniens, Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Macedonian and Serbs. East Slavs: Belarussians, Russians, Ukrainians. Slovak language isn´t such similar to Serb/Croat or any other language, beside of Czech (very,very similar) and Polish, Lusitanian and Ruthenian. All mentioned nations are slavs divided to 3 branches according to languages and culture.
The language of Serbs is also closer to Westslavic while Bulgarian to Eastslavic.
But please never say that Russians are no Slavs or Poles or anybody else. We are all connected and we are all Slavs, speak slavic dialects and understand eachother withouth learning the languages. From both sides 400 000 soldiers were involved. Roman commander was Tiberius later roman emperor. War ended 12 A.D.after both sides were hit by disease wich was probably typhus with agreement. Dalmats were given roman citizenship wich great privilege. Dalmatia got name from fortress Dalma wich was in area of todays Nevesinje B&H.

But on translating from medieval Greek Latin writes V on the place of β, as we can se on Σέρβια becomes SERVIA instead of expected SERVIA.

Ruscia was NOT equal Serbia but only one of Serbian provinces. Medieval Serbia had provinces (županije) Rascia, Usora, Drina, Soli, Donji Krajevi, Mačva, Srem. Županija Bosna was strong and occupied Usora, Soli, Drina and became the rang of banovina. And Rascia occupied kingdom of Red Croatia and become Veliko Županstvo. Serbia is not equal Rascia.

I should tell you that there are various mistakes concerning the Slovak Language.. For example : In Slovak language the word pomáhať means to help - the word pomuže you are mentioning in your video is the 3rd. person singular of the future time of the verb pomáhat - in Czech language! so the word pomúže does not exist in Slovak language at all... this form of the verb pomáhat is actually - pomôže :)

@renepayback Zapravo Madjari imaju samo 1% ugro-finske krvi. 32% balto slavenske, 15% ilirske(slaveni južni) 9.5% tračanske(južni slaveni) 17% germansko keltske. Sve je jasno kao dan. Enormnu ulogu u madjarizaciji slavena ima Vatikan koji je preko svojih biskupa i kardinala u XVI,XVII, XVIII i XIX stoljeću zabranjivao racki jezik u prvom redu. Svaki drugi madjar se preziva Toth(slovak) Horvath ili Ratz(ras). Kakav dokaz je još potreban kad to govori sve.

Zapravo čitava panika je nastala nakon 1848g.nakon madjarske pobune koju su ugušili srbohrvati pod vodjstvom bana Jelačiča i Mitrpolita Zagrebačkog. @renepayback srbskom istorijskom školom koja je bazirana na istraživanjima Jovana Deretića istoričara koji je život i istraživanja proveo u Americi. Inače osnivač srbske istorijske škole je bio Miloš Milojević sredinom XIX stoljeća čija se istraživanja antičkih slavena u 90% poklapa sa istraživanjima J.Deretića. Razlika je u tome što Milojević koristio ruske prijevode antičkih historičara, dok je Deretić naučio starogrčki i latinski te sam tumačio iste spise. Slažem se da su svi slaveni isti.

@renepayback To se kod nas zove kompleks niže vrijednosti. Smatraju sebe inferiornim u odnosu na nas pa od toga dolazi mržnja. Inače svi primitivni agresivni narodi imaju potrebu da unište one koji su tolerantni i mirni i na neki način na višem civilizacijskom nivou. Great Moravia was called differently - it was the Slovenskaja zemlja, just like today is Slovenska republika, meaning Slovakia. Great Moravia was called Sclavonia.

@wexx0 As you can see from text of this oldest chronicle in Czech language, original homeland is called Croatia ("Charvatci"). Croatia is of course not contemporary Croatia, but original homeland shared by Czechs and (probably) White Croats. There is no mention about Pannonia. Murder ("muzobojstvo") is mentioned, but without name of victim.

Also veneti or vendi as germans use to call them were slavs as well people from Iliria(Dalmatia), Trachia&Daccia. A little bit of nonsense. Pomagat and Pomuže??? What is it? Slovaks have Pomáhať (to help) and Pomôže (read as Pomuože, meaning: he will help), in Czech they have Pomáhat (to help) and Pomúže (he will help). So we in Slovakia have both, Pomáhať (Pomagat) and Pomôže (Pomuže). @VendPrekmurec Besides Herodot explains wolf-cults of Neuri and they might be Slavs (alongside Budini).
He also tells about the cult of Dionis (which doesnt mean that Dionis was Slavic god but if you would read about the that cult in Greece you would know what he meant by that). And we also have good explaination of slavic way of fighting and sacrifying cult. Slavs had no metal. They build everything out of wood. When fighting the would stick sharpened stake in the ground and throw enemy on it.

@G6600 Ok mate! There is in one of Plinius writings describtion of biggest rebelion that happend in roman empire in year 2 A.D. Rebelion took place in Iliricum. From both sides 400 000 soldiers were involved. Roman commander was Tiberius later roman emperor. War ended 12 A.D.after both sides were hit by disease wich was probably typhus with agreement. Dalmats were given roman citizenship wich great privilege. Dalmatia got name from fortress Dalma wich was in area of todays Nevesinje B&H.

@Slovejnc Sorry mate greeks do not have V. Greeks V is beta. Greeks writte mp instead of b. Also greeks can not start word with R usualy they put T in front of R in begining of a word.exm.TRACIA is RACIA romans called it REATIA.

@mrdrmiki Realy guys, who says that Greek doesnt have V then he can claim the same for Serbian, Bulgarian or Russian, for cyrillic alphabet is nothing more then a version of medieval Greek alphabet. On translating from antic Greek Latin writes B on the place of β. Βαβυλώνα becomes BABYLON. But on translating from medieval Greek Latin writes V on the place of β, as we can se on Σέρβια becomes SERVIA instead of expected SERVIA.

@mrdrmiki Considering your statement that Greeks CAN NOT start the word with ρ let me say you that that's not correct, as we can see in native greek words ῥητορική /rhetorica/, ῥεῦμα /rheuma/, ῥόδος /rhodos/ and at least the name of the sound R which is ῥῶ. Besides REATIA is Latin word and it was a province in todays Schwarzwald in Germany and has nothing to do with Thracia.

@mrdrmiki If you want to bring in connection Serbian province (županija) Rascia (Raška) with Thracia or even Russia then you you might think twice. Ruscia was NOT equal Serbia but only one of Serbian provinces. Medieval Serbia had provinces (županije) Rascia, Usora, Drina, Soli, Donji Krajevi, Mačva, Srem. Županija Bosna was strong and occupied Usora, Soli, Drina and became the rang of banovina. And Rascia occupied kingdom of Red Croatia and become Veliko Županstvo. Serbia is not equal Rascia.

@mrdrmiki So far about what is Serbia or Zagorje and Croatia or Primorje which together made "Slavic Kingdom Dalmatia". How Rascia and Bosna became their names. There is a river that Serbs call Raška and there is a river that Serbs call Bosna. After them the županias got their names. As well as Zeta, or Morava, or Nitranska država, or Vislanska država, or Bužani after Bug, or Pomorjani after see (morje), or Poljani after feeld (polje). Slavs are Slavs but they live overall :)

@mrdrmiki So far is clear about the name of a serbian province Raška which is Rascia. Now how medieval Rus' got its name. Well, first of all you know that Rus' is not equal Russia as well as Rascia is not equal Serbia.

@mrdrmiki The name of Thracia is older than that of Rus' or Rascia and it really has no coincidence with the last two terms. Because its name is in Greek Θράκη and refers to the region of today Istambul and the region between Rhodope mons and Haemus (Balcan) mons.

Serbs came to Balkans 650. After the battle with Francs serbian king jointed to Samo's state. His brother led about 10 000 Serbs to Balkans from Lusatia over the Karantania and Panonia. Those Serbs have become land from Byzant because they protected Byzant from Bulgarians, the other slavic tribe who came from Ukraina and mixed with Avars and Romanians. Serbs itselfs mixed with Romanian women in order to have children because women never moved with soldiers. That shows also genetic structure.

@G6600 Mate! Serbs did not came to balkans in 650AD. They were already living in Helms(Balkan) Peninsula for mileniums. Read Antic historians from Herodoth,Plinius&others. Serbs is synonim for Slavs wich was used untill IVcentury AD. This fact was long time ago accepted by Russsian, Polish, Czech and Anglosaxon historians. History you are obviosly reading is from so called nordic(GERMAN) historian school imposed to south slavs after Berlin congress. wich is complete forgery.

@mrdrmiki I actually read Herodoth and Plynius as well as Anglosaxon, Roman, Iranian and Arabic sources but could never perceive any statement that Serbs or Slavs particularly have dwelled on the Balcan peninsula. @G6600 Dalmats had to give from each brotherhood certain number of legionaries. After that there is uncomplited list of tribes brotherhoods families with exact number of legionaries. In that list names of tribes brotherhoods families are pure serbian wich exist nowdays. When You read antic historians it is extremly important that edition is older as possible. Every later edition is full of forgeries added in first place by vatican clarks not clerks.

Well one thing. There is some good stuff here but we all can feel how the author is having some negative thoughts about Eastslavs. You shouldnt. We Slavs no matter how they called us, or how we call us, are so similar we cannot even have normal nations. Between every two slavic people there is one which connets us in between. You say Slavs have no tribes. What are: Lasi CZ or PL? Rusini SVK or UKR? Belorusi PL or RU, Zagorci SVN or CRO, Torlaci SRB or BLG? We are all cirruculum of slavic tribes!

@SloveintzWend Not officialy but they are infact one of many Slovenian tribes. Than you will say now, SLovenians have no triebes. Yeah, I know but only 100 dialects.
The language is that what makes a tribe or nation or any other human community.
You know Torlaks are officialy Serbs but the truth is they were Bulgarians in past and now they are bridge between Serbains and Bulgarians. Rusiny are Ukrainian-Slovak bridge and Belorus are Polish-Russian bridge. The point is ALL Slavs are Slavs!

@G6600 Generally yeah, modern Slovenia has no tribes. Only regional groupings. Slovenia has tons of names for that matter like Gorenjci,Dolenjci, Notranjci, Krašci, Goričani, Korošci... and even Zagorci(which were more commonly known as Bezjaki) if you say so. But historically I'm familiar more or less only of one tribe and that's Dudlebi.

Jak widać z tego filmu, Polacy nie są dla Słoweńców Słowianami. Być może dlatego, że Polaków jest tylko 40 milionów. Niech i tak będzie. Możecie sobie być Słowianami, a my pozostaniemy Polakami i to nam wystarczy.
I see from this film, that Poles are not Slavs for the Slovenians. Maybe it is that because there are only 40 millions of Poles. Let it be. You may be Slavs as you want, and we will remain Poles, and we are satisfied.

Pomoc! (Help!) I, too, am West Slav (Slovkian), and for the past 5 years, I have been researching my lineage from the Slavic Branch Tree (what a breakdown there is: East, West & South). As for the West Slav, I have come across a lot of information you have presented here and truly find this fascating. To this day, I am still hungry for more infornation, but for now, thank you for your indepth look into West Slavs.

I should tell you that there are various mistakes concerning the Slovak Language.. For example : In Slovak language the word pomáhať means to help - the word pomuže you are mentioning in your video is the 3rd. person singular of the future time of the verb pomáhat - in Czech language! so the word pomúže does not exist in Slovak language at all... this form of the verb pomáhat is actually - pomôže :)

Western Slavs? It depends. According to DNA analysis, we (Czechs) are more Celts than Slavs. But as far as our culture is concerned, we belong to Slavic world. And what's more important! Slavs, Celts and Teutons have the same origin, they've just came to Europe separately and created own culture and languages. Proof: Slavic and Germanic languages belong to Indo-european group.

@TheCapko111 V podstatě už ale nikdo v Evropě nemá jednoznačný původ.
Vezměme si třeba Finy. Ti jsou příbuzní Sámů, kteří mají ještě teď lehce mongoloidní rysy, jenže spousta Finů je blonďatých. Jsou blonďatí kvůli Švédům, pod kterými byli a ochotně se s nimi mísili, ale zároveň si zachovali svojí kulturu.
A takových případů jsou zde desítky, od stěhování národů, jsou zde národy jen oficiálně, nikoliv původem. Němec je jak blonďák, tak i černovlasý a podobně je to se všemi v Evropě.
